I love the idea of you building little boats on your channel (not sure if you plan to do more). Although I'd be more interested in something like a small, simple, boat for fishing... maybe a wooden johnboat or some kind of pontoon boat. Not necessarily a lot of details needed, just one or two medium length videos highlighting all the steps... Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! BOAT! If you want to make content like that, I think your best bet is doing things that make people think "Ah, I could do that in my garage," and get's their creative process going, rather than doing all kinds of fiberglass, or welding aluminum (LOL), or some huge boat that takes a year, and a spare $50,000 to assemble.

I wonder if you could rig up some old bicycle handlebars on the motor, and a twist throttle for this thing? Or bicycle brake handle throttle cable.

Thats what I recommended; however, the builder didn't agree during construction. It takes a second to respond to direction changes, if you plan ahead its fine.

Thing needs a seatback added, and more speed, LOL. I think a simple plywood daggerboard (removable keel) would drop in, the exact same way the motor drops in.

Strong work! Your supervisory skills are fantastic. Needs a 6 horse and a thick motorcycle seat. Cup holder? Also, do you need tags for under 14’ in Arizona?

What about putting a keel on it and a rudder , would that help ? If you put a drain hole won’t it still have water from the floor ? Build a few one with motor and link together and pull the kids around like a floating train ! Lol
