Thanks! It has since expanded and gotten a bit bigger. The setting thing definitely works but it certainly costly to do it the way I do

Can you go over what general holds you should have and some brands you recommend?
@DoughJoSetting4 жыл бұрын
I'm more than happy to make a video about that. I will warn you, while I would like to think that I can be objective, I do shape holds for a dozen hold companies so my opinions could be viewed as biased. All of the holds on my wall are holds that I have designed.

What is the dimension and angle of your wall? Try to construct one myself so am looking around to have a feeling what is the best for me.
@DoughJoSetting4 жыл бұрын
Every climber is different and will have different needs for their homewall. Unfortunately, there is no one right answer. My wall is 11 feet tall by 16 feet wide. Half of the wall is a 20 degree overhang and the other half is a 30 degree overhang. With that said, I would prefer something a bit steeper. The reason the angles are what they are is because I had to take into consideration by wife and stepson's needs as they are beginner climbers. The 30 degree wall allows me to use some pretty difficult holds when still providing a somewhat steep terrain to practice a wide variety of movement.

Ey i have a question. What's the right distance between holes in plywood, to put hold so near?
@DoughJoSetting4 жыл бұрын
I don’t think there is a right or wrong distance but my wall is on a 6 inch grid
