I'm a Home Free patron and I remember hearing they were going to be releasing a sea shanty and to say I wasn't too excited is an understatement. BUT, they released it to us patrons and I was gobsmacked. Apparently, I am a fan of sea shanties - at least when Home Free does them like this!! Oh, and that was Adam Rupp (beatboxer) making castanet sounds that you pointed out. Well, in Adam's case that would be "castaNOTS". 🤣🍟

Same here (although not a patron. It was, meh, a sea shanty... maybe not... hmm, well, maybe I'll listen once... OH MY GOODNESS!!! Now it's one of my favorites!

This was so successful they got a commision from a gaming company called Ubisoft, to write a song for their new game called Skull & Bones.

How good are these guys? The fun & energy in this is infectious. This was done during quarantine so none of the guys were even together. The editing of this was great & was done in the Tik Tok style. Love all the guys parts, with Chance starting first, then Rob & Tim's rumbling bass underlying it all. Austin is in the red outfit. Adam's beatboxing is phenomenal as always including sea swells & castanets. Amazing how he increased the tempo from one song to another.

I prolly listened to this version three or four times before I heard the sea water crashing along and away from the ship. I was paying so close attention to the castanets i totally missed the sound of the water. Adam Rupp never ceases to amaze me... But it goes the same for the rest of the guys as well. I have to listen so closely to hear background harmonies/sounds that I missed the first few times I listened to a song of theirs. They're all amazing!

They simply had way too much fun producing this song and video presentation. Their entertainment value is top dollar with eveything they do. Their customer base receives the best from them everytime. Very creative juices and exceptional produced music that keeps our hearts thumping along with smiles and feel good feelings.... ❣

Adam is actually doing castanets, although I would not be surprised to hear him do maracas, too. That's my favorite part of this one.

They’re so good. Yes, this was during Covid. They put a lot of content out during that time and saved me. They bought equipment and filmed themselves at home and the producer put it all together and it was wonderful. Adam was doing castanets….how cool is that?! Remarkable stuff. Love them. Could really hear Tim’s low notes. Chance put this together. He loves sea shanties and it lead to them being contacted by Ubisoft (game maker)and then Chance wrote the song Skull & Bones for the game and it’s a banger!!! Going to be used in the game Skull & Bones. Really cool!!!

The HF guys showing their creativity once again: the TikTok format to manage their separation during quarantine ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ Tim staying so still to keep from falling out of the boat he's standing in--it makes me laugh because every time I see him in this I think of the animated pirate dolls in Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean. 😆 And those castanets!!
