Conor Crickmore quit his job in the city and moved to the country. There he started an organic farm from scratch and never looked back.
His farm became successful due to his simple systems. He now works to help small farms succeed. His a well known educator throughout the world in small scale market farming and has been very successful at earning a good living growing vegetables on a small plot. He farms without tillage and uses mostly hand tools.

Your comments on voles is so accurate. We had almost no critters in our weed free garden until I had work in September and everything was grown out & dying back. They love that soft high organic soil matter to dig into as long they can hide from the various raptors living in the wildlife refuge next door to us .

Slugs are my main issue, tiny Slugs that munch on the radishes so they have to go on the compost. I have used slugpellets but the Slugs are so small that the pellets might be to big for them. I dont have iberian slugs, just field-slugs as we call them and plenty of them too

Thank you for your videos. Every time I have grown radishes they never seem to bulb up, just lots of greens. Our yard doesn't get very much direct sunlight, would this cause that?

Do all radish varieties take roughly 3 to 4 weeks from seed? I have a lot of radish seed for microgreens but I don't knownwhat variety and I've planted them but don't know how long to expect considering I've seen some monster radishes. Anything helps

People who don't like radishes should try baking them. Anybody who hasn't tried baked radish should try.

Braised radishes are pretty good, as well. Taste similar to braised baby turnips. They get sweeter with cooking.
