To make a half kilogram cake we need 8 eggs . Beat them well.Now add powdered sugar to this.While beating the sugar with egg, make sure that lumps are not formed. Now add a little oil and vanilla essence and beat it well.Filter all purpose flour required for the cake.Add baking soda and baking powder to this and filter it so that it gets mixed well.
Now mix this powder to the egg mixture and add little milk. Make sure that the mixing is done in one direction only. To bake the cake in a traditional way put a flat vessel on the flame and add fine sand on it. In another vessel rub oil all over the surface and pour the cake dough into it.Now keep this vessel on the sand and close it with a lid. Place a weight on it.. This is one of the traditional ways of preparing a soft, sponge cake without an oven.
