You should remove the low oil sensor instead of filling it too much with oil, also I would recumbent a spring loaded chain tensioner/roller to solve the chain problem. Nice kart!

Dont put too mich oil in there or carbon will build up in your cylinder and will scratch the piston

Don't overfill the oil it will blow out all seals and gaskets just disconnect the oil safety

btw their is a yellow cord under the on/off switch, that is the low oil sensor and i recommend just pulling the two links apart instead of over filling the engine with oil

Hey I noticed that you welded your sprocket on the hub so its not easy changing the sprocket size to give you a better gear ratio so if you have taller back tires it will change that to a better ratio ! It looks like a nicer cart than your other ones ! I am sure that is what you were going for !

Rotate the band on the brake so it has more clamping force. That's why the brakes aren't what they should be. It will lock the brakes easy then

Try checking the idle screw on the carb and dont twist it more than half a twist, if you turn it clock wise it will idle higher and oppostie. trust me i had the same problem with my engine and it is fairly new

Just make shure the steering wheel desnt break through and you poke yourself in the chest or stomach with the steering column. That would be my main concern if you were to hit something head on or whatever. HAve fun that looks like a lot of fun i wish i had one of those.

Nooo not too much oil bro!!! Apart from excessive carbon build up you actually lose horsepower because if the rod is soaked in oil, it becomes more of a drag. Fill to proper level, and cut off wire of low oil pressure sensor by the on/off switch until you decide to remove it. I guarantee you, you don't need that sensor

hey, I love the kart, but a little advice from a guy who uses the same engine don't overfill it on oil, remove the overstress/low oil kill system on it or disable it by unscrewing and tapeing the kill wire that come from the sensor box on the front of the engine (behind the seat), and tape the wire so it doesn't ground out, that way when your putting a little stress on your engine in corners, or on bumps the sensor will kick in but it won't ground out, and the engine won't kill, if you have any questions email me at [e-mail] The wire should be yellow, with a green stripe, but I'm not sure I removed the entire system on my engine a while ago, now I can bury the rear tires in anything and it won't kill.

Actually the big sprocket on the axle has 48 teeth I was confused with something different
