Step 1: Activate the yeast in:
1 cup lukewarm milk
1 1/2 tsp yeast
1 tbsp sugar
- Mix, cover and set aside for 15 mins
Step 2: For the garlic butter, mix together
2 tbsp butter
Few cloves crushed garlic
Chopped ajwain (or oregano)
Chilli flakes
Any mixed herb
Salt
Step 3: Take the yeast mix from step 1 and add
1 1/2 cup plain flour
1 tsp salt
Garlic powder (if needed)
1 tsp butter or oil
- Bring the ingredients together then knead on floured surface using a pull method.
- Rest the dough for 1 hour or until dough doubles
- Use your fingers to flatten the dough
- Apply garlic butter from Step 2, cheese and chilli flakes
- Fold and slice the top gently to release air
- Cover and rest for 30 more mins
- Bake at 200 degree celcius for 30 mins
