Always nice to see the power cables well out of the way from other cables! Good job 👍 Back in the day when I was using a budget receiver I had always been aware of a faint hiss, it was only subtle but still very annoying. Well anyway after auditioning several mid-priced AVRs it quickly became apparent that the hiss was coming from my unshielded cables! Considering I was in a middle of an expansive upgrade... I thought I'll start with what was annoying me the most ( hiss coming from unshielded cables) So I changed my 18- gauge cables for the 14-gauge amazonbasics and even though their was a slight improvement in sound quality the hiss still remained! It was only when I finally purchased chord shielded cables that the hiss had finally been eliminated! 🥳 Probably because of the aluminium shield protecting the cables from RF/EMI interference! My room is so much quieter when I press the pause/mute button I don't hear anything. So nice to have a nice quiet noise floor!

The cables are more organized, I'll do the same as you, organize with Velcro. Thank you very much! I liked...👍🏻

Great effort and nice outcome. One recommendation is to avoid using a label maker for labeling cables, over time the glue will break down and labels will fall off, at least thats my experience. There are better solutions on Amazon for cabel labels

I would have run the power cables down the right side since that is where they all come out of the units at. The way you ran them could cause issues because they are crossing path with your signal cables. Otherwise, nice job.

I’m thinking about building my own home theater system setup and I wanted to let you know that Amazon Basics XLR cables are good quality if you didn’t know that but I’m hoping to do an Amazon build completely off of Amazon electronics and such 😊

Hi. I'm in England, and was wandering a few things and hope to pick your brain. 1st, did you make your rack or buy it? 2ndly, What components do you have in your rack (Amp, Satelite box, CD Player, etc). 3rdly, Have you fitted Fans to your rack to help reduce over heating? Amps and other equipment can blow out some heat, and your kit is very close together on top of one another. 4th, What power supply do you use to each equipment? Is it the cables that came with your gear or bought separately? For example your Amp, I have A Merlin Tarantula cable on my Amp, and on my CD player, Satelite box and Subwoofer. 5th, What Audio cables do you have, such as HDMI (4k/8k 2.1 ready), Phono Grounded for Turntable, RCA for CD, RCA to Subwoofer. 6th, I see you like Audio quest, is that because if what you said in the video of how you were able to get them or did you research your xaes and thankfully you were able to get them at a bargain? Many Thanks. GREAT VIDEO BY THE WAY. Love it

I made my rack. As far as components in my rack I have a video on my channel where I go in detail what I have in my rack. If you watch that video about my Home Theater rack tour you will see why I don’t have fans on anything except the processor. Almost all of the questions you have asked can be answered by watching that video I mentioned. I used sone audio quest pier cable but the standard ones are fine if they are a thicker gauge . Cheers thanks for watching !
