Actually concrete means Defenitely there will be holes in between jelly metal..we fill msand in that holes .. if any holes exist there..cement particle fills into those holes. These holes are equally filled by only proper vibration or compaction. if the vibration process is not done properly hole may left there. also evaproation of water from concrete due to hevy sun light causes holes in concrete. these holes are acted as airgaps
