Hey guys. Cheers for trying our no boil beers. So glad you liked them! 10/10 for both, wow! Thanks. I do brew them with a finished beer in mind, then tweak and rebrew to make sure the kit will turn out as planned. This is why there is currently only 4 kits in the no boil range. I’ve tried to make the method as simple as possible and that’s why the method is a little different than a boil method. There are all the usual ingredients you would expect, but the quantities have to be adjusted to get to the desired beer. So thanks, glad you liked them. Split a boil kit in 2 and boil 1/2 and dont boil the other 1/2. You’ll see there is quite a difference, and thats where i have to make adjustments to the recipe so they taste the same. More kits will be coming soon! Cheers & happy brewing Davin Brewbitz

Thank you for your review on the 'No Boil' brews. Tempted me to have a go at these in my Brewmonk. To create a great beer without the added cost of a 60-90 mins boil sounds great - and saves ££ on electric bill! Keep up the fine reviews!

Thanks guys would be interesting to brew the same kit with one being boiled and the other no boil to compare. Like you say. Breakthrough if you can get away without the boil, saving time and The cost of all that electricity. Plus saving the whole planet as a bonus 😅

Hi. It wont taste the same. We have tweaked the recipe so that the boil is not needed.

Brew2Bottle had those Morgan's single tin kits a few years ago, and their tins of malt extract. They were selling them really cheap. I'm sure it was about £15 for a 1.7Kg single tin kit plus a 1.5Kg tin of extract. I tried a few of them because they were cheap. The pilsner was OK but not as good as the Coopers Euro lager. The stout was actually pretty nice. But the star of the show was the Ironbark dark ale. That was surprisingly nice for a single tin kit.

yes, I bought a several of these kits too, a few years ago, cheap as chips and easy to make and modded most of them, cheers 🍻

Really Interesting and informative as ever guys 👍 well done for bringing that concept to our attention. That's now got me thinking, could you brew 2 x identical kits, one boiled and one no boil, with maybe adjusted water volumes to compensate? Or maybe even split your mash, i.e raise to 85 or even to cusp of boiling, then, draw half off to hop and boil the remainder? to see if the final result is as good. maybe again adjust water volumes to compensate boil offl.....defo food for thought there though..

There’s a little more to it and the recipe needs a tweak, but as the guys said, they couldnt tell :)

Yup I made the whs porter. Brought just before Christmas. The orange has faded over the weeks past weeks. I did add the dry peel at 60 minutes.

No boil blooming heck result, you’ve got me thinking do a brew boiled and the same not boiled and compare ? Brewed a chocolate orange stout with Unkle Roy’s natural orange extract and it was lovely ( recommend by Harrybrew 👍)and it was beautiful no synthetic taste or smell I was well impressed,another’s great vid cheers guys 👍🍻

The guy at brewbitz says it's not quite as simple as not boiling your normal recipe,he says added and taken away to achieve the final taste,so that must mean the right combination of grains oats etc ,but if you have a go post a video would be interesting for sure Cheers Rick

@@beerkitreviewspartridge1083 thanks for the advice I’d definitely do a vid but I may have to look into it a bit more thanks I’d have definitely just not boiled and sounds like that’s a big mistake 👍🏼😜

As always a great vlog , but the no boil wort has really got me thinking.
@beerkitreviewspartridge108310 ай бұрын
Apparently the guy who designed these ,says you can't just not boil any receipe,he's adjusted his recipes to achieve the end result ,which is pretty good to fair,probably if you stood it side by side with a full boil you could Taste the difference but for 2 hours less work not that big of difference
@andrewyoungs273210 ай бұрын
Obviously I can see the advantages in time saved , there's a lot of talk about a 30 minute boil being the new standard which I get , but no boil I just don't see it being 100% safe for the end product or the consumer.
@Brewbitz10 ай бұрын
@@andrewyoungs2732In the UK its totally safe. Our water is potable and no boiling is needed. Trust me!
@houseonthehillhomebrew461710 ай бұрын
@@andrewyoungs2732 if you're mashing at 65 deg C for an hour, you're pasteurising the wort by doing so... no issues.

You dont boil cider, you dont boil wine, so why boil beer 🤔
@dcgrace10 ай бұрын
This video is more than interesting, as it could significantly change the brewing process. Did you say you will test the no-boil method on other kits? Or do you already think it will work on other kits? I know some do only a 30 minute boil, but I do not want to risk a poor beer after spending so much time in the process. I'm assured that it will work, but, so far, I haven't made the move. But 10/10 for no boil is impressive, tempting me to try.
@beerkitreviewspartridge108310 ай бұрын
The guy at brewbitz,as told me it took a while to get the recipe right,apparently they would be a big difference if you no boiled a standard brew, The time saved tho on these brews is amazing tho, and I thought the beer produced would be poor at best,but no,it's not
