Evening Fellas, good entertainment as usual. Wondering which enhancer was used with the Nectron pale ale

@@craigbarlow2225 the green one dark rock sell. There is an option to buy the kit an enhancer together, which I think saves you a little

Hello Lads from the collony of Southern Victoria, mainland Australia, Early Autumn down here and its getting cold, nights are vey cold 5C that Guinness sounds nice, I'll have to get too and do some all grain stouts, as all grain is mainly what I do, but there is a extract kit from Black Rock accross in New Zealand I have been told is nice called 'Black rock crafted oatmeal stout' it's part of their range of kits where they drop a handfull of hops in the tin of extract before its sealed. Cheers and Happy St Patricks day 🍀 🍺🍺

Great review chaps gunna try the Milky Way chocolate coffee stout from dark rock. I also do there New Zealand Sauvignon blanc for the wife which is fantastic considering you pay nearly £10 a glass in the pub now the quality is excellent even better if u condition it for 3-6 months. Cheers 🍻

Good reviews. Dark Rock kits are excellent and out of about 14 different kits I have made there was only 1 I didn't like and that may have been down to me. If you are going to the shop for all grain kits give them an hour or so notice as they make the kits up fresh. Not sure about the part grain.

I brewed the Espresso Stout about 6 months ago and I'm sure mine came with a little bottle of coffee essence rather than coffee beans. Was lovely though.

Hi, we are constantly tweaking kits based on feedback and are always looking to improve quality where we can. We switched from a coffee flavour to natural coffee beans which are sourced from Heartland Coffee Roasters in North Wales. We found that this imparts a more natural flavour and the feedback has been excellent.

@@darkrockbrewing Thanks for the info. It was great with the coffee essence, so I'm looking forward to brewing the improved version :)

I always preferred Guinness original to Guinness draught. Guinness original isn't isn't nitro it's pasteurised and carbonated. Back in the day it was bottle conditioned. The first all grain beer I have a made was a Guinness original tribute, that was over 30 years ago when you could still get bottle conditioned Guinness original. I used the sediment from several bottles to make a starter. Maybe nostalgia but I think it was the best stout I ever made. 🍻

normally for beer its 4 weeks to condition BUT you can drink it after two weeks better if you leave it for 4 weeks

@@homebrewalchemist1014 Thank you. I leave my bew for at least three months for the conditioning to be done. What does the D & P use to condition before review? It would be good to know each time - it makes a big difference.
