ghost of death I honestly like watching crazy. I like watching characters with great inner turmoil, and struggling mental stability. Seeing fan made vid of homelander makes me wanna watch the show. I never even heard of the boys before. Initially I thought it was called the homelander 😂

I like this because it’s the first “superhero” show ever to show exactly what it would be like if “superheroes” actually existed. It would be a corporation. And bring along the old adage- be careful what you wish for. Just because someone has superpowers doesn’t mean they would be pure of heart and be a “hero” in real life. I think the supers would have their powers go to their head and think them better than other people. And that would definitely be reinforced as they would of course be treated like celebrities. Also especially what if they get mad- homelander is the perfect example. And just because someone had powers- doesn’t exclude them from being a psycho/sociopath. I also like that it’a not predicable making the super beings automatically being the good guys.

The boys might be a super hero show but is so realistic especially on today's climate, when it comes to rampant consumerism amd hyper capitalization off of everything possible , Washington being bought off and manipulated by huge corporations, people being easily manipulated by fear through social media into following dark ideologies.
