Samuil, your resilience is admirable. Sharing a prized catch that does not come often, relying on broom-making skill to earn small amount of money for survival, or singing an ode to your beloved mother are all exemplary. In the extremely cold weather of Yakutia, Samuil's warm soul is prevalent. I hope in his free time he can enjoy movies or videos of his own choosing or he can tune into his preferred music and news channels.

To aliass. I once had rabbit soup, which was the most delicious soup I ever tasted! BUT, when I see people like this, or in Alaska, for example, catching animals in a SNARE (which is CRUEL) , it makes me realise it would be better for the planet if everybody DID live in towns, where they didn't have to catch animals in cruel ways - and could rely on killing animals for food in a proper slaughterhouse.

I lived in a tent in the Scottish Highlands for 1 year 8 months. So many people knew I was there but not a single person offered me any help of any kind even when I had tears. It was very lonely and heartbreaking. For me humanity didn't exist. I too had to collect firewood every day in the winter in all weather's, wood that was frozen, wood that was wet. I had a wood burner in my tent or else I would have died of cold. You guys helping the forest man means there is humanity at least in Yakutia. He was so happy with the gifts but I bet the most happiness came from the fact that you people came to see him at all. He is no longer alone. I would happily live in Yakutia but only in the forest. Maybe I could be neighbours with him and we could support each other and be friends. I'd like that.
@Shadow_Wraith Жыл бұрын
@@apassingship7784 I put myself there by choice? Ok, if you say so but are you f***ing serious??? You really think I wanted to live like that?!?!? The fact the council told me they had no emergency shelter was a huge factor. I approached multiple charities for help, they all said nice things but they lacked resources to help and so didn't/allegedly couldn't. To get food from a food bank you can't just ask for food and be given it, you have to get vouchers from the council, I couldn't get any because I didn't claim benefits, you need to be claiming benefits to get any food vouchers. I didn't claim benefits because they said I had to get a house or a flat and that they would check with me once a week to see if I'd got anywhere to live or they would stop any payments, the same Council that said they had no homes available! You try getting a job when you're homeless, it's incredibly hard, not to mention the fact that too many will exploit you and yes that happened to me and it's horrible. Churches help nobody, they are a business, I wouldn't turn to help from any religious group even if they would help, I'm an atheist and it would be hypocritical of me to accept help from any religious group. You are just like everyone else, absolutely heartless, zero humanity and zero compassion. You know absolutely f*ck all outside your little bubble. The man in the video absolutely did choose to stay and live where he is, he had options but wanted to stay in the forest. I don't blame him either, society with people like you in it keeps people like him away from it!

This man made a choice to live a life of self subsistence knowing it would be a non-stop life of hard work and perseverance. If anyone deserves a break, even a small one, it's people like this. Simply giving him proper windows for his home is more than he could have ever hoped for, yet you people have given him so much more. I wish many more years of happiness for Samuil and everyone who has watched these videos and contributed. This is truly what it means to be human.
