Since starting my canning journey last year, apple pie filling was one of the most rewarding things I’ve canned! The beauty of the finished product in the jar is almost as wonderful as the taste inside! I appreciate having an easy cobbler, pie or turnover dessert on my shelf & ready to go. Your apple pie filling looks gorgeous! 🤩💜

My parents have an orchard and we spend days together pressing apples for cider, apple beer, and apple cider vinegar and also making apple sauce and sliced apples for canning! Such good times. I love your method. I don’t add any thickener until I dump out the jar 😊
