i wonder what happened to that ! and my plasma cutter does the same and a "one-armed blacksmiths channel " would be a great idea !

Looks like you need a more powerful plasma cutter . Think they recommend you start with drilled hole.

Well done Craig! For variable speed of your Fan motor, a Variac from eBay would of given you tons more speed control. (Remember what you call it for future projects!) I'm bike hunting, (again 😅) Catch you soon , Take care, Gary

Looking forward to seeing a bit of blacksmithing on the channel. I would lop the plug off of that controller box and put a decent one on it, those skimpy Chinese 3pin plugs are pretty sketchy (definitely not UK conpliant).

Its a good thing you have good relations with your neighbours despite the fact that you've been torturing them for years with noises from your compressor, DA and of course the Grinder etc. Well they gonna love you even more when you ad hammering noises from your Anvil once you get the forge going

Don't suppose you had a link to that variable regulator? I was looking recently for the fan in my attic, I mean shed! Didn't have much luck in finding what I wanted. Cheers!

@@jjj7665 it’s a Thyristor electronic voltage regulator. I found it on eBay by searching for fan speed regulator. It seems to be ok but time will tell I guess. Thanks for watching its much appreciated.

I’d sub to a blacksmith/fabrication channel - done a bit of blade smithing and axe head forging and have a gas cutlers forge crying out for some projects 😃👍🏼
