AB. Look man. This recipe came out so good I had to come back after thanksgiving and tell you that this is the best corn bread I’ve ever eaten. It came out SO GOOD! I’m eating some again right now out the fridge and it’s STILL good. Three slices and it hasn’t dried my mouth out. You did not have to go this hard with your recipe. BUT YOU DID FOR US!!!

I made this for my Friendsgiving this year for a group of friends & I. Came out amazing for my first time making cornbread. I followed your recipe except for the sugar, I did add more sugar cause I prefer my cornbread on the sweeter side. My friends loved it and so did I. Thank youuuuuu

Smokin'& Grillin I finally found my favorite cornbread recipe right here! I'm from the south raised in Los Angeles and southern food is just not on the menu's here. If you want some you have to make it yourself! I couldn't find my mom's recipe and all the ones I tried on KZbin just weren't as taste worthy (I MEAN DELICIOUS) as yours. In fact, it's better than my mom's was rest her soul and hers was exceptional! I was in the mood for a good ole' bowl of Pinto beans, Cole slaw, and CORNBREAD. Honestly, made it last night and got up this morning and ate your cornbread for breakfast, too! I left out the sugar as I prefer it savory. I cannot repeat enough how absolutely delicious is your cornbread! Living in Los Angeles if you want Southern cooking you have to make it yourself! You certainly are an amazing cook and I love everything that you make that I've tried. I will always be grateful for smells and tastes that your channel provides. I love me some cornbread since I was a kid buttermilk cornbread crackling cornbread ,,,, cornbread is my go-to anytime the dish requires bread cornbread is my thang and I love the way you made this cornbread what I want to see you make though is crackling bread crackling bread is a history of mine My grandmother would make crackling bread when I was a child And it was Soo Delicious So anyhow keep it up with the cornbread,,, And thank you for your Show n Tell cooking recipes AB😎

It was good. A little note for those that are salt sensitive to cut the salt down to maybe a tsp. My family thought it was very tasty just wanted less salt. I poked holes and drizzled in honey to tone it down. Thank you and the wifey (beside every great man ☺️) for sharing these recipes!!

Followed the video and at 1:29 it called for 3/4 tbs salt. Wasn’t ready for the savory cornbread; I should have caught it but just went with the video. Just had to drink a lot of water.Easy mistake to make. I’ll give the recipe another shot in the future. Thanks for the post.

Tried your recipe for this Homemade cornbread today it was amazing instead of white sugar I replaced it with Sugar in the raw & I also added to mines raw honey to the cornbread mixture it self and when it came out the oven I rubbed it done with butter and honey on top using the cast iron does make a big difference....

My husband was disappointed the place we went to for Thanksgiving didn’t have cornbread like the previous years. Thanks for the guidelines. I'll be trying this without the sugar. Probably replace with herbs such as rosemary, basil and oregano. Never liked sweet cornbread. Very nicely organized video.
