HOMEMADE FILING CABINET LOCK - Welding

This video shows how I made a filing cabinet lock. If you like to use filing cabinets for storage of valuables and need a way to secure it with a lock, then this video is for you! This is a great way to secure files, tools, ammo, pictures, and .....sky's the limit! NOTE: Welding skills are needed.

Great idea. Wondering if you could do this for a rolling toolbox because my lock is messed up and will no longer lock keeping my tools secured with it not locking?

weld yourself up a little box around the hasp so you cant bolt cut or easily angle grind the lock?

maybe a scrap cutoff of some 3 inch tube..
