Remember, on test drive it’s gonna handle funky until you get aero and ground effects… You are rocking this build… 🤙🏻
@migueldenboer51863 сағат бұрын
As if it was fully CAD designed with aero in mind. It's going to be just fine, if anything, I don't think the aero will add much functionality other than mostly drag. Just solely because there isn't getting millions spent on the design, which is totally expected and reasonable to not do
@rixvangemert5152Сағат бұрын
There steering and suspension geometry isnt right at all. If he fixes that, it will handel more trustable
@lastofthebest510218 минут бұрын
Lol, a body helps minimally with stability and handling. The biggest factor is alignment of the wheels in relation to each other and forward direction.
@leplufflepsy2895 сағат бұрын
The steering design is perfect. Just for suggestion..install a quick shift kit.then use two set 12volt single acting magnetic solenoid cylinder at the shifter shaft..1 for push up shift..1 for push down shift... and there u go..u have a f1 shifter at the steering...a bit complicated and need to do alot of testing...sorry for my english
@Wazaarbazaar4 сағат бұрын

F1 driver seats are done by using a two part expanding foam poured into a bag and then the driver sits in it until it hardens. Just remember its exothermic meaning it gets hot don't burn your ass.
@StanleyKubick1Сағат бұрын
all high-level professional racing has poured seats
@BoostedlifestyleСағат бұрын
I still plan on pouring a seat. I just wanted a decent seat base to start so other people can fit in the cart too
@RayGouveia-y9r3 сағат бұрын
F1 drivers actually use something like expanding foam to make the seats. Just make the shape and angle of the seating position using aluminum sheets, just like you did with the firewall. Put small squares of Styrofoam on the bottom, and some in the back. But first you put a sheet of plastic or even use stretch wrap on the aluminum bucket. Then you place the pieces of Styrofoam, start injecting the expanding foam, place a piece of plastic in between your back and seat, in between you and the expanding foam. Then you ask your wife to keep on injecting the expanding foam, holding the steering wheel and legs on the driving position of your choice. The only problem will be waiting for the foam to harden enough. In the end, you will have a seat with the exact replica of your back and bottom, and the only thing to do is remove the pieces of Styrofoam, and fill the gaps with a little more expanding foam. F1 drivers use one whole day just for this process, but I think you can do it much faster.
@Boostedlifestyle2 сағат бұрын
I understand this is the process but that just makes a mould of my body. It would be nice to have it a bit oversized so other people can drive it too 😁
@RossBobby2 сағат бұрын
There is a great video showing this process by a professional seat insert dude on CJ Race Cars channel for Cleetus’s new 5000hp drag car..

@@Boostedlifestyle would be cool to have a swappable moulded custom seat for your butt (since I assume you will be driving the most), and a more generic swappable seat for your mates.
@mtbOutsideCAСағат бұрын
Awesome progress. Once you have your seat base frame, if you want to try your hand at a DIY version of a Schroth Profi seat kit you can get that custom fit by following the Profi instructions but using a bean bag refill kit, a XXL vacuum storage bag and some fiberglass resin.

Someone replaces a girlfriend’s Audi parts, and gets 3.2 million. People like you, Electric Supercar, and Crucible Coachworks are all designing cars from scratch and have mid 100,000s of subs. The algorithm hurts because this thing would be widespread news tbh. Now I can just imagine: “Breaking news, there is a 21st car on the F1 grid, using a transverse motorbike engine it produces ‘enough’ horsepower and drives for the Boosted Lifestyle team.”
