Laura, I must admit I've seen quite a few jalapeno Popper recipes, but yours looks particularly simple to put together. You really summed up how to make homemade what I call Rattlesnake eggs very well. I have never tried to cook homemade jalapeno poppers, but when I do I think that I've learned a lot from this recipe.

I always said Pre shredded cheese doesnt melt the same, but everyone thinks im just picky. So the confirmation made me feel a bit better! Thanks for the recipe!

Preshredded cheese doesn't melt the same. It also often contains added things like potato starch.

I think they dust it with flour also because I have a friend who has to eat gluten free and she cant eat pre shredded cheese

for those of you wondering how to pick a jalapeño by spice level... Jalapeño's have, if you look closely, little white lines that run down along them. More lines, means more spicy-ness and vise versa; less lines means less spice. Hopes this help to avoid the whole, "these jalapeño poppers are too spicy to enjoy!" :)

Not necessarily...know where your jalapenos come from...I grow them in my garden by the tomatoes. 🤔I grow my own and there are no excuses not to container garden grow jalapenos!!! I pick the first round as normal... I starve the plant of water thereon and begin harvesting from there...when a jalapeno is starved of water it gets spicier no matter what rib/seeds are present because the heat of the jalapeno becomes concentrated at that point...Texas bred, born, and raised, we definitely like our jalapenos HOT!!!😉👍

Thanks for the video. I made mozerella sticks for my daughter this morning and they turned out so well that I decided to look up jalepeno poppers on KZbin. Yours was the 2nd video that I chose and I'm glad I did. I prefer baking over deep frying. I breaded my mozerella sticks by doing what you did but I did each breading step twice and they came out really well. You helped me with seasoning each ingredient and with grating my own cheese. So I'm on my way to the store to buy the ingredients and make these for tonight. Great job and thanks a lot.

My mom and I made this tonight, for my younger brother's birthday. They were SOOO good! We grow jalepenos at home, and this is a great way to use them. I thought it was so neat, how the filling toned down the heat. I had to bookmark this recipe. Haha!

+mozammel majumder It was a medium amount of spicy. Without the Cream Cheese, it would have been very hot. But the dairy made it more calm.

The important thing to keep in mind when making these is that when you select jalapenos, make sure it isn't too thick, or else you'll taste more pepper than cheese. Also, if it's too thick, or if the pepper wasn't cooked for long enough, there will still be that raw pepper taste, instead of a sweet tender effect you're supposed to go for. One last thing: very important to wear gloves when handling these. I thought I didn't have this problem, but my hands felt like they were on fire.

I’ve made this recipe COUNTLESS times for my family and friends, and it’s always a hit every time ❤️❤️❤️ One tip though: the jalapeño peppers always leave my fingers burning for hours after, so I’d suggest wearing gloves when de-seeding them to avoid this from happening.

These look amazing!!! And I stopped using pre shredded cheese because it is coated with refined wood pulp (cellulose) to help prevent sticking. No joke, freshly grated is always best!!!

I cut my jalapeno about a quarter out of the side so it makes a bit of a canoe shape, scrap out the seeds and ribs. mix creme cheese with garlic powder pepper and salt. I stuff inside the popper then wrap it all around with 1.5 or 2 slices of bacon. I'll grill it or bake it. super good. the boat shape of the nearly whole jalapeño holds the creme cheese inside

Looks delicious. it's funny I'm saying that because I 'm afraid of jalepenos or anything spicy because normally their bitter and too spicy. But now that you've made them I wanna try them. Everything you make always looks delicious! Could you make more baked fried recipes, basically more of these jalapeno recipes. I want to learn how to bake the fried recipes because I don't want to waste a lot of oil for deep frying recipes, and also its healthier. So please make more of these recipes. Possibly a sweet potato version of your baked garlic fries recipes where you explain thoroughly on how to make the fries crispy. Thanks for the awesome videos as always Mr. and Mrs. Vitale!

I typically make this by just putting cream cheese in the jalepenos, wrap in bacon, and bake then for like 20 mins. These look yummy too! A good twist to try
