Healthy Japanese-style marshmallows♪
---------------------------------
Homemade Japanese Marshmallows (Black Sesame Marshmallow with Soy Bean Powder)
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 20min + cooling time
Number of servings: 4
Ingredients:
2 tbsp. black sesame paste amzn.to/4cLF3Sr
2 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. brown sugar syrup amzn.to/3RvcYpV
a pinch of salt
1 egg white
60ml water
gelatin powder 10g (about 1 tbsp.) amzn.to/3VzFp7k
soybean flour amzn.to/3VPFPrS
Directions:
1. Place egg white in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer over ice water until stiff peaks form.
2. Put gelatin and water in a microwavable bowl and microwave at 500W for 1 minute.
3. Mix well to dissolve the gelatin, then mix in black sesame paste, sugar, brown sugar syrup, and a pinch of salt. Microwave for another 30 seconds.
4. Add into the whipped egg white and mix quickly. Pour into a square container and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set.
5. Cut with a knife, sprinkle with soybean flour, and serve.
*Unlike store-bought marshmallows, they get sticky at room temperature, so I would keep them in the fridge and eat as soon as possible.

Thank you! Getting difficult these days, tho. I don't know how long we've been saying it. It is becoming our set phrase. haha
