Increasing the copper tubing to 3/8” makes good sense. It looks like the feed tube, from your reservoir is 3/8”. Reducing from 3/8” to ¼” would create a restriction.

Its all 1/4", I also think my needle valve is too restrictive as well.

Glue a oil pan pad to it. Plug it in for 1hr and it's more then enough. I do that to my 4 strokes for -30c days I used to ride. Has worked for past 14 years. Idk if it will get hot enough tho to melt the bucket.

feed line is way to small. use 1/2 inch line and a gate valve to regulate the oil

from what i can see, when you shout it down, you maybe boiling your oil, from the perheater. hope it helps, may not.

This could very well be the case. Next year ill try shutting it off and letting the remaining oil bleed out right away. Thanks for the input!
