Timothy Bright Thanks for watching and subscribing. I work diligently to respond to comments as the posting of content may not be enough. Dialogue is important. Thermogenic ingredients differ per manufacturer. You’d be surprised some actually utilize cayenne pepper. That “Thermogenic” word can be broadly used. As for the peanut butter, you will find very minimal differences between brands. The more incremental grams will come from utilizing different butters. But, if you’re not facing an allergy or in cut. Any butter can do.

Thermogenic does not mean it burns fat, it simply means it generates heat, which causes more calories to be burned in the process of digesting it, not specifically fat.

Thanks for viewing, commenting and being a subscriber. Very good perspective and addition. Of course components such as thermogenics and other supps can assist with the process of fat loss. Given you are burning enough calories to be in a deficit. Nothing works unless we do. Thanks for the add.

You add the oats last after everything else is melted and smoothly blended together. It makes it easier to mix , this is like making no bake cookies. And you can use sugar instead of honey but I would only do 1 cup of sugar, it’s actually less carbs than honey.

He's using a standard US measuring cup. I'm guessing you're not from the US, but we often measure things by volume not by weight (not in grams with a scale). I would suggest looking up the different conversions online from cup to grams for each ingredient. It may not be 100% accurate but it's better than going out and buying a set of American measuring cups. Good luck, hope this helps!

Good day. Thanks for the compliment and comment. Substituting the protein powder would be tremendously removing the protein attribute. Some have tried peanut butter, but that is more of a healthy fat. Other than that. Just skip the bar and eat whole protein foods like, chicken, egg whites or ground beef. @@ThatGuyHealth If the amount of peanut butter is actually 1 cup (227g) and oats dry 2 cups (about 250 grams of dry ingredient) per bar (if divided by 8) is about 380 calories per bar. Its a good recipe with a lot of protein but the only thing fat burning about it would be if you didn't eat it in the first place lol. I don't mean that in a negative way, but if someone is trying to be mindful of caloric intake I wouldn't recommend that much peanut butter :)

Great video! Just a couple of questions: How long did you leave it on the stove? What temp did you bake the bars at and how long?
@ThatGuyHealth
@ThatGuyHealth 6 жыл бұрын
No baking necessary. Low to medium stove top temp. Adjust based on the characteristics of the mix. You don't want a boil, just enough heat to soften up the ingredients and allow them to mix well.

why baking it instead of freezing it? great video though, respect from serbia

dane pribic thanks for commenting. The shared opinion and commentary help! No specific reason other than the process I chose. But, giving thought to the versus of baking to freezing. I would think the bars would be less affected by temperature after being baked, versus them being freezes. Definitely something worth considering and testing. Thanks for being a subscriber!

How many calories per bar?
@ThatGuyHealth
@ThatGuyHealth 3 жыл бұрын
Good day. First, thanks for the view and being a subscriber. I am going to give you my best approximated answer. This video was so long ago, I literally had to go back and input the products as close as can to come up with a number. I will most likely do an updated video making a new protein bar soon after competition season for you all. Better tasting too! I believe the pan yielded 8 bars, so the calories may have been around the 300cal area per. That's a real rough estimate! Hope that helps.

Good day and thanks for the view. The thermogenic additive is there as an ingredient in the protein powder utilized. You will not solely get fat burning benefits of anything without the work and proper nutrition. Thanks for being a subscriber! And thanks for the abbreviation of the word b^ll$h!t! Lol!

@ThatGuyHealth
@ThatGuyHealth 3 жыл бұрын
You're exactly right. That's why it's not titled burning calories. It's fat burning and that is minimally due to the thermogenic additive. But, nothing works unless you do and to take advantage of any supplement. you really need to be in the right deficit for fat loss or surplus for gain. Nutrition is key and working out within your plan. Thanks for creating some extra dialogue to assist me in elaborating on those key points. Hope you subscribe and offer more to the community.

@@ThatGuyHealth doesn't matter how thermogenic it is. Calories in, calories out. You're better off walking while eating it cause just moving will have more of a thermogenic effect.

ApocalyptiHD Hey, thanks for commenting. That’s a pretty broad and can be a false statement. Really and largely would be based on your caloric intake. Whether you’re in a healthy deficit that enables one to start losing fat/weight. Because weight is a very broad term when focusing on body matrix. Don’t hesitate on having a good protein bar, given your allergies. Thanks for being a subscriber.

That Guy Health idk how much calories is in that bar but 28g protein = 112 kcal+ other ingredients so I’m just guessing it’s above 150, that bar does not burn above 150 calories. That’s basically like saying when you eat it, you’ve done 15 minutes of intense jump rope
