Homemade RC Buggy Build Episode 4 ( IT FINALLY DRIVES!! )

Finally got the buggy running and it was better than I thought it would be!! I'm very excited to coming to the end of this build so I can get it out on the rocks and really test it! Thank you all for the support during this build!! Stay cool during these hot days and get out there and be safe.

Back in may I reunited with with 23 year old son and he took me to a rock crawler event here in Southern Ontario Canada where he brought 2 out of his 15 10th scale crawlers lol Needles to say I haven't used a rc since I was 7 years old well I left that event with a axial scx 10ii and love it. My wife did ban me from Amazon last week since for 2 months now there has been delivery's everyday lol but it was a out of box so it needed all this stuff. I love your work and videos thank you please keep it up

Absolutely love what you do every week! A live stream would be great! I’ve been buying wrecks off of Facebook marketplace and rebuilding them. I now have over 30 of them completely rebuilt to new and all have many hop ups! I have built a tandem wheel trailer for my TRX4! First thing I’ve ever built for my RC addiction,LOL!! Never gave a thought about building my own until I saw your videos. I’m now in the process of building one from parts off of EBay. I don’t have a welder + I don’t know how to weld!! Keep the great videos coming! Don’t let the hater’s get to you, no matter what you do in life they always be someone with a bad view and knock what you do!!

I just built a mild steel chassis. Its not quite as intricate as your build, but im really having fun with it. Your build is sooper scale and i love it.

Try some spray on brake clean or put your ISO in a spray bottle and use a clean paint brush it’s a lot quicker than wiping with kitchen paper and leaving bits stuck on it in corners etc ..♥️🇬🇧🇺🇸♥️👍

I'm working on a 1/14 scale forklift right now and I have to push stuff oit oc the way so I can even work on it. I need more shelves/drawers in my work area so things have plaves and are off the benchtop. In the southeast US, they'd call that mercedes a "mudbuggy" I think. Anything you'd put on a crawler could go on it. Certainlg needs a winch.

Pro-line makes a pretty sick 1956 Ford F-100 body for the x-maxx. It is a pretty reasonable price compared to any other body out there. As far as durability though, I am not sure.

Dude i fab aluminum caps for home's and as patch panels on full-size rigs and have the bug to build a body. But having a mini tenth a 12th buggy and a 24 4ws crawler the weight is my enemy. But on a 5th basher would make it weigh more simple. And it cod easily carry the added weight.

I did think about it, but I decided to do just dig on this one. I have one with rear steer and it is a blast. I'll see how this one does and if it needs it I will do it for sure.

Make a roof rack with some gas cans and a KC bar and a spare tire, maybe a box of repair parts on it too. That Mercedes is sick, as far as tips go you could try Go Fund Me, Waffles Funds im sure a lot of us wouldn't mind helping out a little bit where we can. Your content is awesome bro, we wouldn't watch if we didn't like it. Putting your knowledge out there for the rest of us to benefit from is priceless.

I have been thinking about this and maybe its something u can try without spending any money just to experiment. Could u angle the front coil overs bring them in at the top and out at the bottom. I think it would look cool but how would it perform

So I'm not in to rc crawling. What's the point of locking rear wheels while front pulls?

Having locked diffs front n rear rear dig helps bring front round in a much smaller radius than possible due to scrub steer from locked front diffs

I use 3/16 solid round stock steel. You can get it at Lowes or cheaper at Home Depot
