I use the Dollar Tree 12 x 15 mesh laundry bags to go over my brassicas to keep the white moth away. I've even taken two apart and sewn them together for a larger bag. They have draw strings and I've found they're perfect inexpensive solution. Love your channel and learning with you! Blessings!

Yes I knew that. They also react differently to the way you treat them. I learned a very long time ago that experiments were done where they played nice soft music, people talking nicely to them and when handling them it was done gently. Then others were given harsh music something like rap, the people talked harshly, and handled them roughly. The plants that received the kinder treatment grew better and were healthier! So keep talking and handling your plants with care!!!

No I didn’t know that about lemongrass. I do not have a keen sense of smell so I thought that was why I didn’t really smell my green blades of lemongrass. Not that I was harvesting the wrong part for the fragrance. Thanks so much for sharing.

I did know plants communicated with microbes in the soil thru root exudates ( Steven Cornett "Nature's Always Right" his aerated compost tea videos) but I had no idea that plants communicated with each other thru their roots and thru the air!! Harvesting food from the garden right outside your door and cooking it is a whole new eating experience. Tonight I threw garlic, basil, white Hakurei turnips and their greens all from the garden into a pot of lentils. The house still smells wonderful!

Hi Taqueshia, I really look forward to seeing your videos, and gleaning from your wisdom. I am just learning how to grow my food, as well as learning how to bake simple bread recipes. I love your creative spirit, and enjoy watching you, and your family do your thing. I would love to see more of your different types of breads, or any of your food recipes as well., whenever time permits you too. I just harvested my first harvest of bell peppers which was so exciting for me. Just started gardening for about 5 months, and I really enjoy it. Anyhoo....I greatly appreciate you sharing your many gifts. Peace & Blessings unto you and your family.❤

For the grow bags on the fence line, you could clip at the top then drape the tulle/organza on the fence over the bags. Maybe clip the sides and secure the bottom so it doesn’t blow up. I’m sure you could still water while doing that. What do you think? 🎉🤷🏽‍♀️ or 🤗💜🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽. I think if you give the purple potato’s some time to cure, the starches will have time to convert into sugar and it should be sweeter. The white Japanese one is just inherently sweet from jump. I believe. 😂🤷🏽‍♀️🤗💜💜💜. Your apothecary is so all the rage! 💜💜💜🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Thank you so much!! Girl. You can absolutely bake a beautiful and delicious loaf of bread without any "experience" ... It's takes about 5-10 minutes to mix ingredients (.maybe a little longer if you are mixing by hand) ... You let that rise until it's doubles in size.... About and hour.... And then shape into your loafs... Then let it rise again for about an hour . Makes for about 30 minutes or so .... You can totally do it!!!
