I heard that you just have to clean off the mold and can still use the loofa. Plant mold in the mix may be too damp?

Hi Taquisha, I believe you need to stake the broccoli.

Wow!! That’s a lot of seeds.I want to try growing loofah. I think I’ve bought some seeds. Do you have a video on how to grow them and care for them too?

Good evening, Cut the ends off of the green ones and put them in a very low oven. It will dry it out.

For the garden entrance, I would suggest moving the wooden beds and planting climbing flowers up the fence! I've been really into planting more fragrance giving plants... I think if you can get your hands on some star jasmine that would be awesome for that spot, its evergreen as well! You could also interplant sweet peas (flowers) for spring fragrance. I think flowers and sweet smells greeting you at the entrance would be lovely :)

❤ What variety of collards did you harvest? They look very healthy. 😊 I'd arch support the grapevine and plant a variety of colorful flowers. That would attract pollinators. Good luck! ❤😊

Don't plant a grape vine unless you plan to train it horizontally and prune the leaves. They grow like weeds.

Wonderful job relocating those raised beds! I was thinking about doing the same thing. That food looked yummy! I say keep the box and plant the herbs for your tea there.

The Collard Greens are beautiful, and they happen to be one of my favorite things to cook. I like the new garden layout. It's a beautiful view and transition to the greenhouse. I'm sure you'll find good use of the space behind the greenhouse. Trust God!!! ❤

Keep the box. Why not intertwine food and flowers together? Just my two cents. Grow as much as you can.

I love the idea of food and flowers together.... It's exactly what I'm doing on the other side of the greenhouse ✨

Great work! My opinion for the future is to grow vining edible perennials along every inch of fence along that back walkway! Grapes, blackberries, regular or hardy kiwi (depending on zone), espalier some dwarf fruit trees, etc.

YASSS! I absolutely love that! Definitely one of my thoughts as well!

That broccoli is fine, you can fertilize it to perk it up. Do not remove the leaves. Water good if it hasn’t been.

Mold is normal the airflow there just needs to be better, topsoil is stagnant basically. Just needs to breathe BUT peroxide spray mixed with water will help
@ourfreedomsong3 күн бұрын
Thank you!! I actually closed everything up the day I planted these! Makes so much sense! I was trying to keep the "warmth" in and totally disregarded the air flow portion!

Dear Taquesha, Hey! I really, really appreciate the content you shared in this video. Forgive me for having felt jealous of you for your seeming so perfect content ...no hear me out. I have no comparison to what you have, and no freedom to be creative in my 10' x 20" small space. Well, I have no comparison to the skills that you and your husband have either. Wait, wait! I am trying to say that I admire all you have shared...your and your husband's creativity, skills, to create esthetics of your beautiful and productive garden in general. However, today, I heard you say THE REASONS you change things and make them better. Yes, I can use the suggestions you make for the reasons you have learned through experiencing what you have been through. I can stop being jealous and be grateful to learn from you. Sincerely, Wanda

Hey Wanda! I'm so happy you took the time to express your thoughts! I'm happy that my "why" encouraged your heart! Nothing is ever perfect and a single video will never truly capture what truly goes into developing spaces.... Often times I am able to edited HOURS of hard work into seconds that are shown in clips.... It looks easy... And fast.... But it's really often slow... And laborious! Hahaha it's that " labor of love" that I mentioned. No matter how "small" your garden is, its yours ❤️ and you get to create a space that you can enjoy right now... Even if it's putting a chair that you like out there...adding a wild chime Or maybe spray painting some pots to create a color scheme you love.... One thing at a time to make your space "better" will make your heart so happy! I'm so happy you are here ❤️

I have had mold issues during germination of my microgreens due to lack of air flow. Opening a window on warm days or adding a fan to the space helps. For active mold, I spray food grade hydrogen peroxide directly on the plants and soil
@ourfreedomsong3 күн бұрын
This makes so much sense! I actually didn't have the fan on and I closed the windows THAT DAY to keep in heat! Ah!! Didn't think of that! Thank you!!!

Zinnias until sweet potato planting time in the box but paint it first. Could do giant marigolds too. My daughter got the seeds from Burpee last year. They were as tall as me 4'11 in. They had large heads and kept bugs from her veggies.im going to grow some this year. I got some seeds from them as we cut them down end of season.never saw these before. Ive got extra seeds...
