This video will guide you through the processes of making naturally carbonated and naturally fermented ginger yeast at home for Wine & Beer. It is creating wild yeast natural through ginger bug & sugar. Full process, feed and care for it.
For 1 liter ratio
Ingredients:
Ginger 100g
Sugar 8Tb spoon
Water 1 cup
Method: This is at least 5 days process
Day 1 to Day 4: BEFORE CHOPPING THE GINGER DIP THE GINGER IN HOT WATER WITH SALT AND CLEAN IT PROPERLY, SO THAT NO GERMS WILL BE THERE.
About balloon: When you will see that the balloon is starting to fill up with gas, it means that the fermentation process has been started.
Day1: Chop up 25g of unpeeled ginger and place into a glass container / bottle with one cup of water along with 2Tb spoon of Sugar, Stir or shake. Then cover the top of the container / bottle with a balloon
Day 2: Again chop up 25g of unpeeled & proper washed ginger and add into same glass container / bottle along with 2 more Tb spoon of Sugar, Stir or shake. Afterward cover the top of the container / bottle with a balloon
Day 3 & Day 4: Repeat as above
(By day 2 you should see some bubbles in the mixture; this lets you know it is working)
Day 5: Your WILD YEAST is ready

S.P GURM wine making k bahut saray process hai. Ya ho maynay process post kiya hai ya Italian style process hai. Ismay airlock nahi hota hai. May jald hi red wine with air lock ka process post karnay wali hu. It’s take 5 days Ismay airlock lagana hoga

Basically airlock is for co2 to escape out of jar and not let fresh oxygen go inside.. If you open the fermentation frequently taste will be affected. Stiring is required if there is fruit pulp floating on surface or thete is doubt of fermentation stopped.

Dharmesh Asher oxygen needed if fruit pulp float on top. Now it’s depend which fruit you using. If you using juice then no need of stirring but if you adding pulp then definitely need stir. Different recipe has different technic.

Yes no need to use any other yeast. If you are preparing this process then please maintain the temperature because in winter yeast process also take time to prepare due to cold. For my suggestion start after January

Bhavin Kavaiya as much as you want but after the yeast ready store it at fridge and when you want to use take out 2 days before so that when it comes to normal temperature it’s start working and everything will be active

We need only upper surface of ginger.Then why full ginger ? Wouldn't hot water will kill bacteria which is needed !

Sir as per my knowledge we need full ginger Secondary hot water remove pesticide If you get organic ginger then no needs of hot water

Bhavin Kavaiya is matter may may ek video bana nay ja rahi hu. Wine fruit say hota hai and whisky ya beer ya malt say hota hai Dono ka recipe different hai par sab bina fermentation k nahi hota hai. Ya bat indian koyee bhee homemade alcohol maker nahi bata tay hai. Sirif bana tay jataya hai apna subscribe bara nay k liya. Hope full kal hi may is topic May video shoot karo. May whiskey & vodka dono hi recipe post karugee par is waqt May RED WINE par kam kar rahi hu. And ginger lemon beer with foam ka process kar rahi hu. Hope full after 5th June May process suru karu

I have noticed that coconut wine is very easy to make and ready just in 2 days with good alcohol percentage than any other wine. It's gives me excellent kick! Nahi yeast ka function after 24hrs active hota hai… aur garam pani se dhone se bahar ka unwanted dust & bacteria mar jata hai… jisse healthy yeast banta hai

Dharmesh Asher baker yeast is use only on baking only. And this wild yeast use for wine. As baker yeast has maida / whole flour and wild yeast is full of fruit enzyme which helps wine perfect. If you use baker yeast on wine then after bottling the wine you get smell of bread, as baker yeast is using for baking only. Hope now you understand

@@HomebrewGossips i understand.. I also read that yeasts have different capacities meaning a bakers yeast will die on reaching 9%alcohol in the wine while a specific yeast will die after reaching 12-15% abv..

Dharmesh Asher baker yeast never goes upto 9% it’s die max to max 4.5% Caz it’s don’t have that properties. And wild yeast goes upto 14% to 18% depends on which fruit we using. And wine yeast goes upto 18% and turbo yeast goes upto 28%. But wine yeast & turbo yeast not available in india. That’s why I recommend wild yeast if you want strong alcohol

Amateur wine makers and professionals also have searched for substitutes for wine yeast but all attempts have as yet not yielded any results. As an interested person I have conducted an exhaustive search for scientific papers related to yeast substitutes if they do exist . While there are established substitutes for baker’s yeast there does not seem to any for wine yeast. However, industrial producers of biofuel in the form of ethanol which is the ordinary alcohol found in wine use rice bran as a yeast substitute for fermentation of corn mash. Rice bran in India is fed to cows and goats and is about one third the cost of wine yeast. I have conducted many experiments using rice bran powder in attempts to ferment grape for wine making but have found that rice bran has absolutely on effect on grape mash. But my experimentation has yielded a positive result in that using rice bran as a yeast nutrient reduces primacy fermentation time to about one third or one quarter. Would it be possible for you as a greatly experienced wine maker to try out rice bran as a yeast nutrient? I am sure this finding would be mo re than welcomed by wine makers possibly even professional wine makers. So please do reply and I look forward to your comments in English if that would be possible. Yes, it is possible to make wine yeast from rice bran. Rice bran contains nutrients that yeast can use for growth and fermentation, making it a suitable substrate for the production of wine yeast. However, rice bran is not a commonly used substrate for yeast production, and other substrates such as molasses or grapes may be preferred due to their higher sugar content and more favorable yeast growth conditions. It is important to use proper sterilization and yeast isolation techniques to ensure that the yeast produced is pure and free of contaminants

@@HomebrewGossips Industrial producers of ethanol exclusively use rice bran and other agents in the production of power alcohol as yeast is much too expensive for use on a large scale.
