I will be here Sunday at 2pm Central time (3pm Eastern) to chat with y'all while we watch this movie together! I picked 2pm on a Sunday because I'm hoping most people are off work and that's early enough (8pm GMT) for all of you in the UK to watch along with us, too. Hope to see y'all then!

You did great! I was very active during my pregnancies, ranch work. I finally call it at eight months when riding a horse made me wanna barf… but the babies were VERY healthy and I’m convinced we were meant to be active and getting great blood flow was a positive thing.

You posting your original WHW videos put the idea on my radar so when I was visiting my brother in London convinced him to do it with me and we completed it in August! It was an amazing experience though tough with some of the weather we got. 😂 Thank you for sharing your adventures!

A wonderful video of a trail that I know half of (I quit last year at Tyndrum - back this year to complete unfinished business). I felt quite emotional watching your summary of the people on your walk ... then blown away by the awesome clip of your new baby. I'm so so pleased for you both. When I hadn't heard anything about him, I honestly feared the worst. This is wonderful wonderful news. Congratulations!!

I live in Scotland about an hour or two from the WHW but a bit further North. The weather was about spot on this year and your perserverence was very impressive. I have done quite a few walks and trails in Scotland and Northern England and their are two other paths I would recommend in the UK. The Cleveland Way (87 miles) on the North East Coast of England mixes a long section of cliff and sea walking with some inland too. Some stunning scenery and beautiful 'quaint' villages. Also the Coast to Coast path (190 miles) travels right across England with huge scenery changes incuding my personal favourite area in the UK - the Lake District. Both require a long flight from the US though of course. The hospitality and welcome you will find will be second to none. David, Sotland

That's it! It's my new preferred video of all yours. My English is not good enough to express what all my thoughts were, looking at this film but....just a lot of feelings and emotions... So happy also to see a pregnant woman doing it, when I was waiting for my last baby in my 30's, I danced (quite as a professional) till the last month or so and people called me crazy, that I would gonna hurt him etc The three of you are adorable 🥰 Love from France

Dear Dixie, thank you for sharing this; it is a marvelous holiday gift to your followers! I am keeping you, Ridney, and Bratcher in my prayers, particularly since seeing that that little man is having a tough row to hoe right now. 😥 This is the first I have heard about breastfed babies having such a serious digestive issue, and pray it resolves itself soon. As a mom of two (now adults) I understand the anguish of being unable to soothe one's crying baby, and the sleep deprivation. May the Creator wrap you all in love, and ease this situation for you. Keep looking forward, dear Dixie: you WILL be hiking again, and so will your beautiful little boy. ❤👣💙

Kinlochleven in the Scottish Highlands is known as the first village in the world to have every house connected to electricity. The village was developed to support an aluminum smelter, which was powered by a hydroelectric scheme completed in 1907. The village earned the nickname "The Electric Village". Here's some more information about Kinlochleven: Hydroelectric scheme The scheme was designed by brothers Patrick and Charles Meik and involved building a 914-meter-long gravity dam, the longest in the Highlands. Smelter closure The smelter closed in 2000, which had a devastating effect on the community. Regeneration The Kinlochleven Community Trust (KLDT) was established to help redevelop the village. Tourism Kinlochleven is a popular destination for hikers and climbers. The old smelter now houses Britain's largest indoor rock and ice climbing wall. Other activities The village has a network of mountain biking and hiking trails, a visitor center, a micro-brewery, and a hostel.
