I hope that he had an attorney present. but then he wouldn't have been there for hours would he? In Texas until 1972, you had to make an effort to "escape" - even inside your house. In 1995 the law changed to where you could shoot someone INside your house IF you feared for your life. When a burglar breaks in to your home, you don’t know if they have a knife or gun. I applaud the gentleman for standing up for himself. When they approach you and gain entrance to “your” home, that’s a threat. In Pennsylvania, they have the “Castle Doctrine. “ that stands behind a home owner. Right now , word is out. Don’t burglarize this address. 👍🏼

I live with my son on the ground floor of a apartment building. One night a man was trying to break in my bedroom window. I was waiting on the other side with a baseball bat waiting for him to stick his head through. I really wanted to clock him one on the head but he got spooked an ran. So disappointing. Never came back.
