my favorite thing about you is how you have been the same over the years. I'm sure you've changed in many ways. But your personality, your style, your dedication is consistent and I love that. I don't think I'm fully articulating what I mean in the best way but I've been watching you for 5 years. I was pregnant with my 1st born trying to figure out what I was going to do. And God used you! Thank you Jady!

I’ve been watching you since 2016! Crazy how time flies and now you have 5 children! You are truly an inspiration to me, I originally subscribed to your channel because I wanted to learn how I wanted to raise my kids-even though I had no kids at the time. But now I’m married with a 5 month old baby boy! You’ve inspired me to homeschool and be a SAHM. Also, seeing you give your 5 children all the attention they need gives me the assurance and confidence that I can do the same one day. I would love to be able to have a big family one day! You have no idea how much your videos have helped me, I hope you continue to keep up the good content for as long as you can! 🤍

About a year and 2 months ago I sat down to watch your videos and learn how to teach my then 3.5 year old to read. I had zero clue what to do and where to start. But you made it so easy. I even learned the sounds of the letters which I didn't know myself from you (English isn't my first language). My daughter is 4.5 now, and she reads well. Thank you so much for having shared all that info. And love this little video of you homeschooling as well. I have a little more of a liberal approach to homeschooling. I would say closer to unschooling. But I so absolutely see the benefits of what you are doing too. Blending what you are doing (from this video as example) with unschooling is really exciting for me personally as a homeschooling parent :) Thank you again!

Yes I find it important to teach the core reading, writing and math and the rest to unschool-read alouds and hands on projects is a good approach.

Thank you Jady for all of your encouragement. This is my first year homeschooling my four children. I’ll be honest some days I feel Discouraged and wonder if I’m doing the right thing, but after watching your video that was posted Dec 2, 2021. I was very ecstatic to see that you and your family also open up with Louie Giglio children’s Devotion because we also open our day with the same book. For me it was kind of a “God wink moment” to see you, your family, all of us as a family in the body of Christ to be on the same devotion. Thank you for that and all that you do for your family and what you share with others. You are truly an inspiration and great encourager. Many blessings to you and your family.

Hi Jady, when teaching your kids to read with phonics, how do you help them differentiate between English and Spanish? I want to teach my daughter both languages but am concerned that I might confuse her. I know in the long run she'll probably understand which pronunciation goes with which language but is there a more organized/better way to do it? Thanks in advance ❤️

Same question from me plz answer us
@JL7ify3 жыл бұрын
We spoke both languages at home...although mostly spanish..between TV and hearing us talk....by 2 and 3....our lil ones were bilingual....and they are flourishing now that they are in school! People would tell me they would get confused...it worked with me as a young child...so we tried it ...all unintentional but with intention😊
@neydiangeles74653 жыл бұрын
@@ldv02 I agree with you 💯, we had the same concern so we started with English first, once they were fluent, I started using most of the same phonic techniques as in English. They are now reading in Spanish a little more.
@gabrielklug19263 жыл бұрын
We started with Spanish and German. Mom spoke only in Spanish to the kids. Dad only in German. Then they went to preschool, and they picked up English there and had/have cute accents. Our oldest is six years old now and homeschooling her only in English. She's an advanced reader . The trilingual process did not hinder her. The other 2 are in kindergarten and preschool. The kindergarter is now reading. Kids are smart. We underestimate what they can be capable of. But do what works for you. Though, I think introducing them to another language while little is probably easier.
@AmyMorales07123 жыл бұрын
@@gabrielklug1926 absolutely. Have to start at a young age. Have you seen the Babies do u series on Netflix. We certainly underestimate or doubt the capabilities but they show us time and time again.
