Do you have anything for parents of teenagers who have gone undiagnosed and without supports? I am considering homeschooling her because it's been a fight to get her the education she needs.

Whats strange here is "proper education" i thought every child is unique and obviously results matter. Such as these children progressed at home. I think homeschool is just right for certain if not most children but even more so for special needs children. But that could mean incorporation of some professional assistance and guidance etc. I think the idea of mass school is actually more odd than homeschooling or small community schooling. Every child deserves individualized learning and you only truly get that with being the main subject and focus, not grouped with others. And the people who care the most and genuinely as parents and family should be most invested and most understanding of the child. Especially married couples where it could be easier done financially with one full time working parent and other focused on children, they could even get education on teaching their own children as well as others. But even single parents can be successful and actually ideal when done properly with including assistances.

The district doesnt help and keeps shuffeling the rise program from school to school and doesnt always hire qualified teachers and dont incentivize the good teachers to keep them

They’ll need social skills in general in life… to be able to initiate conversations with others… especially for kids with autism who desire friendship but have a hard time communicating with peers, etc. Social skills are VERY important
