Nattie has found a special place in my heart just as Oliver has❣️🥰 All of your horses are beautiful, but your Clydesdales are so very special. It was hard to watch Nattie being rejected at first, but it is important she gets socialized with the rest of the horses. Your land is perfect for them! It is breathtakingly beautiful land! She was relaxed and sleepy at the end...her lower lip is loose...she wasn't 'sad'. The horse herd has an order and the horses know what they're doing. There's always a leader and followers. It's natural and keeps the peace in a herd. These people know what they're doing. Nattie's got a herd with her and it's perfect for her.

I hate to be critical, but I rode horses for years, and was taught a new horse/pony should be put in a field next to the others first. Putting Nattie IN the herd like this is not the correct way to me.

Nattie's only faults are her youth, size & enthusiasm. Not faults at all but she's different than the rest of the herd. I think she figured it out much quicker than the the high horse did. i'll step back so no one thinks I'm a threat but I'll also stand my ground and be ready when my people need me to work. Nattie looks great and all your herd is so beautiful and happy. The best horses learn to be horses in a herd out in a pasture. There is an observable difference between horses raised that way and those kept stalled. I always kept my horses out. A lot of possible behavioral issues can be prevented just by letting a horse be a horse!
