This was interesting. I always blanch my potatoes. I would do each batch that was weighed out but then ya might want to put it in a strainer and blot the batch with a clean paper towel. I Also flash freeze each batch by spreading them out onto the cookie sheet and allow them to freezer for like 2 hours before bagging them and removing the air with my vac sealer. I have been known to peel my potatoes and keep them stored in cold water with a lid in my fridge until I am ready to slice or shred them.

To get rid of excess moisture in the shredded potatoes you could put them in a salad spinner.

Thanks for the video. I have the same shredder attachment as listed on the link but yours look different on the video. Is the white top a whole separate attachment?

When you put potatoes in shredder was they cooked or uncooked?😅

They are not cooked before shredding. We washed them, and you can skin them if you prefer.
