In this video I talk about changing the exhaust manifold on the Accord Mk7 2.2 i-cdti. You may experience a strong smell of combustion fumes when you first start the car. Chances are your manifold is cracked due to it being a 2 piece cast. (It may also be leaky injector seal(s) or even a cracked EGR pipe)

Most people seem to be able to tackle this job in 5-7 hours, but I must have had every obstacle in my way. One simple job soon turned into 2-3 hours extra, prolonging this even nightmare further.

Iv'e just fit a new turbo on my 2007 Accord Tourer on my driveway, yes a ball ache of a job lol. I refitted the original copper washers etc... No leaks all good. I got a full new gasket set though for the turbo return etc...

Nothing wrong with taking your time to do it to the best of your ability mate.. your vid on the clutch master and slave helped me out.. don't think I'll be doing the manifold tho lol

hi, did you pull the turbo from the bottom or the top? Did you install the intake pipes before installing the turbo? thank you

From memory I dropped it down. Intake pipe/CAT etc was fitted once the manifold was on
