2021 2.0 purchased October 2021 easily broken in service every 5,000 miles. Use mobile 0-20 now 25,000 miles not one single problem. They only removed the console cover ( tsb ) to check for crumbs that drivers dropped on the console. I don't eat in my car and no one has ever ridden in the back seat. My car still smells new. Keep up the great work your site is very informative. You showed me how to install the top engine mount from the 6 speed and the type R engine cover. Thanks again! I always run 93 octane fuel and add 3 gallons of E85 once every couple months it runs so smooth you can't tell when car is idling.

I have a 2021 Touring 2.0T in Modern Steel and also have 25k miles. Zero issues. Funny because mine also smells new still. I live in Florida so even the underside looks perfect

@ericdolby1622 If want your Hondas wheels to look great and be dust free install red brake caliper covers from MGP, no dust and they look great behind the black Honda rims.

I have a 2019 Accord 2.0 EXL. I've had the CMBS issue happen a handful of times on an open highway to the point where I turned it off for fear it might cause a wreck. It still comes on every once in a while, but only when there is actually something in front I might hit. I haven't had it do it on the highway for no reason since I turned it off in the settings. Honda needs to fix this. Slamming on the breaks at high speeds for no reason is a huge safety issue.

22 2.0 Hybrid Touring, random unexpected braking. One common theme has been the car in from of me having the flasher add on for the 3rd brake light $12 part, $499 dealer add on for safety. When th driver in front of you that had the flasher installed by dealer you'll see it flash, the the orange "brake" warning on the dash, and get choked by seal belt. Not fun at 70 mph on the interstate. I've also had the same thing happen cresting over a hill and nothing coming at me. Only tip I was given was to clean off the radar sensor, by a friend who works for Bosch. WARNING! It is tied into the car alarm so while you are bent over cleaning the sensor, the alarm might go off in your ear. Not Pleasant.

I owned a ‘20 Accord Touring 2.0T and now own a ‘21 Accord Touring 2.0T. Never received a recall for either. Serviced at the dealer and they’ve never mentioned one. On a different note, I have an issue that affected both of my Accords. Want to see if anyone else has experienced this. When the car is cold and I engage reverse, sometimes the rear brakes will make an unnerving, howling like noise. Only happens when the brakes are cold and the car is in reverse. I’ve also noticed that it is worse right after I’ve washed the car or if it’s raining. So, when wet it’s worse.

My buddy and I have both encountered this issue. I have since been able to garage the car which has helped but for him we used akebono pads from rock auto and things seem to be way better. OEM pads seem pretty noisy. Just make sure to engage maintenance mode to release the electronic rear parking brakes to make sure nothing gets damaged.

The rear brake squeal my dealer mentioned a fix, soak the rear brake pads in a BG Stop Squeal. He also mentioned to engage the parking brake more, most never use it, I don't.

@@a32tl Mines a CVT and I have a level driveway. Only time the parking brake gets used is turning off ALL the safety nananies as I do Autocross in parking lots. #funwithcars

I have a 21 accord ex-l. The only owner and I still have yet to have a recall. Not sure why none have been issued for my car yet

I know it's not a recall, but something I've been noticing as a technician is a lot of outer tie rods failing on 2018-2020 accords.

@ I don’t know what the symptoms are but i’m getting a decent amount of knock count which is concerning but I was also running the ktuner stage 2 tune so maybe that caused something but haven’t heard anyone else have issues tho

@ i think you are the only one I’ve seen running it i was going to get the MHI but drob and a few others said kuro was better bet, and if i wanted to up the power later on it’ll be a better opportunity, i have a 6sp so im definitely excited to see how she’ll drive! Just waiting on getting it first of course haha
