Honda CB250 Nighthawk 1994 Cafe / Tracker project

This is my first post about my ongoing starter project please don't too hard. Owned a 2012 FZ6R turn key sold it to get married. Now I am back in the bike game.

Love the little put put, learning how to tune and trouble shoot. Also how to video blog because I sound a little dumb. Also backtracking on the sound, the video actually hides the popping and sluggishness pretty well. Sounded good on the video to me.
You can find these bikes cheap and modify even cheaper. Next is dual sport tires and battery relocation. Any advise or slightly constructive criticism, shoot.

What rebuild kit did you use man? I need to up my carb so I can put those pipes on there man!

How'd those shocks work out for you? I'm looking at the same ones. How was the install? My understanding is that they ship with a bunch of bushings and you have to figure out the right one for you, yeah?

Ian Loughney that is 100% true. Lol but just size up the bolts and it works. Install would be easy with someone helping lift

Just picked up a 2008. Yours looks GREAT. What seat is that? I want to strip all the plastic off the back of mine - pretty much exactly like how you've done. Great work man.

Scott Campbell ill look for the link. it doesnt match up to latch but the front hooks under the tank bracket like it should so I zip tied the rear part and it works great.

Did you do the seat yourself? What seat is that?

Brent Clendenen seat was off Amazon it is called the Vallejo just standard generic sizing but sat on nicely

Yes but the curvature of the frame won’t allow a straight/streamlining sear without modifying the frame, did you find a seat with those curve in it or did you modify it. I’m just curious because I’m trying to do the same without sending off the a fabricator and spend a crap load of money

On your motorcycle you have 2 air filter cones what size are they both and what do they go to?

@@Marlevlyn i do not remember the size honestly, but that eliminates the air box which increases flow which is why you have to jet the carb and adjust it for more fuel delivery. If you dont jet your carb then i suggest not replaces with cones or pods
