Folks, try this, get Ali plate from local metal supplies (6061-T6 5/6/8mm-or sumthin similar). Make cardboard template, rough cut out with jigsaw (you can get blades for ali, WD40 helps) drill and, bolt ali plate to frame and mount "rear sets"- direct to gear box levers are a pain nowadays due to "out of the box" sportsbikes, so linkages are hard to find-. For linkages, try, Steve at Redmax Speedshop, Norman Hyde, Dave Degens (Dresda). If you need to polish stuff up without thinning out the metal too much try Dronco kit www.weldequip.com/polishing-wheel-115mm.htm. These sets come with linkage- www.redmax-ducati.co.uk/dirttrack-cafe--redmaxs-online-store.php#!/ALLOY-TAROZZI-REARSETS-UNIVERSAL-BLACK/p/34597162/category=5793166 and should sort the direct to gearbox problem.

@crazylikeafox73415 жыл бұрын
I am doing the same project. It brings the front foot pegs and controls back what looks to be about 6 inches or so. I am Doing it to my 750C because the C is set up with more of an " American cruiser" seated position and the brake and shift levers are too close to the engine casing. So close I can not ride with boots. The F brings your feet back into more of a sporty, forward leaning position that leaves more room between the controls and the cases and it also works well if you have lowered your handlebars at all.

What about the rust which is inside of the frame brother? This is kill the frame soon or later ;) Next time use some chemicals for to get off them and protect the frame. Also close all the openings which can protect the frame from rust. Honda 750 has a massive frame and I also have one. If the oxidation/rust begins inside once and if you don't do anything about it, it can break one day. You know how heavy the engine and the transmission is and soon or later during a drive the frame can be under pressure and suddenly it can cracks. I wish not but it can be really so dangerous for the person who drives it. Speak with your customer and advise him to build or buy a new frame because it's all about the safety for the driver. Just a friendly tipp Happy days! :) PS. You make great work and love your videos
