For future comments on this video. Please bear in mind your opinions are all valid. Everyone has different experiences and expectations with different motorbikes. I’m just sharing my honest thoughts on 6 months ownership of the CBR 600RR. It’s still a fantastic motorbike. And after riding all the 600s it’s absolutely my favourite in class despite the gripes. I have a 2009 cbr 600rr, i love that bike! Did a 2 day 1000km trip with it this summer and it did great. My ass was a bit tired but that was due to me not having ridden too much that year so i wasnt used to it. Would absolutely recommend it, though the mirror vibrations in higher speed can be annoying... But its a blast of a bike to ride!
@dam2k77 жыл бұрын
Had mine bang on a year now, and done just Under 5 thousand miles. Still makes me smile every time I ride it. I've not had any problems with taking pillons yet, or they just never complained. Know what you mean by wrist pain though.

If you’re getting too much vibration in handle bar then change bar end weights for heavier ones if this doesn’t work you’re holding on to tight.

I have a 07 600rr and absolutely love it. Maybe you’re not good enough for one? The fist bit of kit you need for it is a slow boi hoodie because hard as nails mate!!!!😂 On a more serious note I love it, the fact that it hasn’t got silly power low down I see as a big + I use mine frequently for commuting when I don’t want to burn 20mpg in traffic, the less power low down work really well for calm rides when your not trying to knee down, when the revs are up it’s a different animal. Almost like have two bikes for the price of one.

I had a 08 CBR in DUBAI for over four years before moving to England. The only thing I added were crash guards n a GI gear indicator. The bike is awesome I agree as per your review. Light, flicks like a fly. Just get OEM mirrors. Do your head checks. Tc

That is a really pretty bike. I totally agree re the 600cc motor. Probably the ultimate track tool, but a street bike needs at least some pull. A good middle ground might be the GSX-R750 or a 675 Triple. The scenery in your neck of the woods is breathtaking.

Personaly i think 1st gear has all the torque you need past 25mph, you can power wheely in 1 st at 30mph if you let off the throttle and then pin it. You don't really need to take it out of 1 st gear in town either, your only at 6500 rpms at 30mph, still about 2500 rpms away from the powerband at 8500-15k.

Change your your drive sprocket by 1 to 2 teeth more or less For more wayyy more torque (which lowers fuel consumption) or better top end speed (which also helps with fuel economy).

@@frankp.9655 from the perspective of a 600RR I would say exhaust is a must, I went for a yoshi on this one and it was nice, not too loud and a nice bhp boost, honestly with the 600RR’s I didn’t find a lot needed changing, it rides hard and slow very well, it lives up to the reputation of a do everything bike compared to say an R6, I did find getting ASV levers was a nice touch though.

@TremourSphereUK5 жыл бұрын
CamZE I would not recommend it personally not saying you can’t but it’s a powerful bike and you can get in trouble with that much power and not been used to it, it will power wheelie very easily which is dangerous for beginners, work your way up the CCs

@@TremourSphereUK I have just looked at the laws and i can't get one anyway. Here is my situation i am 19 and i have a a2 licence so i can ride anything up to 400cc. I was going to restrict the cbr 600 to 33bhp but with the law i can't restrict anything that outputs something like 90bhp from factory. So what beginners bike would you recommend? something to note also is i went from my cbt to my a2 and this will be my very first bike.
@TremourSphereUK5 жыл бұрын
CamZE go on to google and look at A2 bikes government website. That has all the bikes you are allowed on that page. It isn’t up to 400cc it’s anything under 49bhp so you could have a restricted 650. Personally I’d say a Suzuki Sv 650 for bang for buck and a good looking/sounding bike . I’ll make a video soon on this.

when you buy a 600,,, you have to know what your getting.. its not a street bike,, its fine as one,, but its a track bike... and about torque,, put it in 2nd hear at 6k rpm and drop the throttle,, if thats not enough torque for you then you dont know what bikes are about... its gonna drop way more torque till redline than any person will need... wanna go fast in a straight line, buy a 1k and enjoy the insurance payment and near death experiences at will.. this guy will never be pleased because he hasnt taken the bike to the track and probably never will take any to the track to understand what bikes are about... you buy a certain bike because you like it,, not to be perfect in every aspect....
