but you left out a critical part...the mechanism has to locate properly to engage the steering wheel lock and I have mine back together wiithout the steering lock function. I am going to try to move it up/back to see if it will locate. They don't provide any pins or reliefs to match the casting so its just guesswork.

fuel pump wasn't engaging when the key was on. This fixed it
