This is one of many things I did for my civic for anti theft. I love this kit. I left the ignition in for the lock and it’s wiring harness in place except cut one plug off and hid the ends, also took some off the wires and re wrapped it. Hoping if someone does try to steal it that will slow them down and confuse them.

Always loved the look of the OG Denji headlights. It’s just too bad they use POS H3 fog light projectors for the headlights. Their light output is horrible. But a quality HID projector retrofit can make them amazing! Nice work on the push button start also!

I have the JDi kit, but you can get the same kit on Amazon for 40 the only difference is the harness isn't complete. Made a spare from the junkyard so now I have 2 full kits..

Yeah would be nice, I fitted a smart top module to it about 3 years ago it was a right pita to fit as you had to wire it directly into the ECU there was about 15 wires but it's a great bit of kit which allows you to control the roof and windows from the key-fob so you can lock the car then close the roof the unlock and open the roof or just open/close the windows plus it makes the switch in the car one touch to open or close the roof, you can plug a PC into the module to change a lot of different settings, on certain car models (not mine) it also allows for remote starting of the car 😎👍

JDI needs to come up with a way to retain the oem steering wheel lock. Or else people’s Cars are just gonna get jacked like escalades back then. Most new cars have push-start and steering lock, all in one..just study one of those cars, and replicate. I understand u can run both the push start and the oem key to retain steering lock..but now u just added more steps to start ur car lol

And they need to eliminate the scanning part. This is more work than using a regular key. Also, you need to push the brake when turning it off as well, again, more work. Cool kit though, they almost got it right.

Personally i like the old school key start. Modernizing everything kinda takes the nostalgic feel out of the car, and defeats the purpose of the restoration. Just IMO. Otherwise, always super high quality work and a clean ass install.

Yes but the timing belt has direction that is printed on the belt you can see it just before i put the valve cover back on
