Good to hear you’re still enjoying it, John. I’m on 81000 miles with my 2018 10th Gen, it’s such an easy car to live with.

@@TheAndyPeacock Thanks Andy! Yes still not much to touch it for replacement. Maybe something off the wall like a Lexus UX but am not convinced the cost to change is worth it.

Toying with Toyota Rav4 hybrid for the extra boot space. I read a lot of good things about their reliability and frugality, but I can’t bring myself to sign the Honda divorce papers just yet…

Replaced the honda head unit with an android one from aliexpress (160 quid). I've had it almost 2 years now and it still works. The car itself(1.8 petrol) been great as well. My wife has a 10th gen 1.6 diesel and it is a great car although I prefer my estate.

I am planning to look at a tourer shortly and was wondering if you have faced the issue or have any thoughts with the leaking of the rear adjustable shock absorbers? I hear these are expensive to replace with no aftermarket parts
@johndglynnАй бұрын
@@jayc7522 I looked into this with Honda before I purchased and the parts were affordable. My car has no probs at 160k miles. Check with Honda and see what they cost now 👍🏻

I have a hinda hrv diesel. With the same engine. Currently on 68k. Question. What mileage would i have to change the coolant and brake fluids? And have you already changed your chain? Thank you sir for this content.
@johndglynnАй бұрын
Chain like timing chain? No way. Not sure what Honda recommends as a brake fluid interval. You could change the fluids every 60k maybe (think of it more as 3 year intervals on lower mileage cars) but check your manual.
