The reason for the clear coat to come off is because you have to have a certain window between painting the car to add the clear coat so it can stick properly to the cars, I have found that most mass produced cars will have clear coat peeling as they rushed to get them out the factory and didn't take the right steps

I had a this green Civic and a red CRV that had terrible clearcoat issues - white circles. Did this to CRV. Only 50% improvement - turned the white circles into gray circle - which are still very noticeable when you drive by someone.

We have not heard of this problem before. The emulsion brings out the underlying paint color unless it is prevented from reaching the oxides by previous applications of polishes, waxes, rubbing compounds or spray applications that have not been completely removed in the preparation process. In any case Howard, we have a return and refund policy if you are not happy with the results. Simply contact us for a return label and shipping instructions. Thanks for your interest in our product.

Hi from Australia, you are right, the damaged clear coat can be seen, especially after exposure to the weather. This method is a dodge some car yards used when getting rid of a cheap car for a better price. If you are going to do it yourself, either use the rusoleum method or 2 pack. Because 2pack is carcinogenic, if you are doing it as home in an enclosed area it will damage your lungs. That’s why most home jobs use enamel. It’s safer.

As we say repeatedly on our web site, our emulsion is not as good as a professional repaint but the application is a simple DIY at a fraction of the cost. Without knowing the circumstances of a vehicle, its color, how it has been looked after and where it is located, the general answer to how long the finish will be effective is about the same as a good wax application.

Jommar - It is not common to see oxidation on light colored cars, as the surfaces do not get as hot as on darker colored cars. Our emulsion will improve the look of a light grey car but it probably won’t be as dramatic as on darker colors. If the clear coat has peeled, you the owner, will still be able to see where the clear coat starts again, since you know where to look and our emulsion is not a “filler”. Others who don’t know your car will probably not notice anything.

after the 2nd coat of emulsion-solution, can you proceed with wax-buff application?
@oxideoff73878 жыл бұрын
Yes you can - but remember that if you want apply another coat in say 6 to 12 months time, you will have to get that wax layer off first. Most of our customers are just applying the 2nd coat - it is easier to apply than a waxing and the finish is nearly as good.

Wow!!! Really? Well, I do see tell evidence before me, via the video exhibition, which makes sense to not bother with a waxing application. It seems that this Emulsion-solution is literally the waxing step, itself! Thanks for the clarification, I need to get some of this!

Hi, can the vehicle be buffed after this treatment? I don't mean right after but like a couple of weeks after. Can it?
@oxideoff73878 жыл бұрын

tazmanian devil I asked them to determine if I should buy the product or not. based on their response I don't think they trust their product.
@dead-or-a-lively50968 жыл бұрын
I would not buy it based solely on the response they gave you. That response makes them sound like assholes.

What a scam. When it looks to good to be true it most likely is untrue. And this is a classic example.
@oxideoff73877 жыл бұрын
Obviously you haven't used the emulsion - pretty hard to to scam this, when the procedure and results are shown on multiple videos

No one in their right mind is going to repaint a 2001 Honda Civic. Cheap solution to make it look better. That's the route I'd go if I was looking to buy an ancient car for whatever purpose.

Dope its not a clear coat failure. Its the color coat. That white fringe is the color coat after uv eats through the pigment.

That's some funny shit! I've been painting for 18 yrs. this is the worst solution I've ever heard of. sorry for my blunt comment sr,but really? anyways I enjoy, watching vids like this.

Nelsio Carrillo I've been in the paint and body business over 25 years never heard of that neither

Nelso, agreed. Paint is only as good as what's under it, in addition to what is on top. Here, he has remnants of a failing coat that will continue to fail, and what's on top is crap. This won't last worth a damn. As other comments have said, it's only good for someone who is fine with half-assing it, or to get this car sold to an unfortunate sucker.

Certainly not as good as repainting as we repeatably say on our website, but a DIY at a fraction of the cost, and the appearance will last about as long as a good wax application
