2016 Honda CR-V Production - East Liberty Auto Plant.
From its first Honda Civic in 1989 to today’s assembly of the Honda CR-V and Acura RDX models, the East Liberty Auto Plant has defined flexible manufacturing. In 2002, the plant performed a flexible first by building light trucks on the same line as cars. Honda recently completed major innovations at East Liberty to enhance its assembly operations and leverage its flexible manufacturing capabilities. The plant will add production of the Acura MDX in the spring of 2017. Currently, the plant is undergoing innovations to add new weld technology.

I'm on my second crv I let the first one go a 2007 with 260000 miles on the clock (I always said it had been to the moon and was on its way back!) And it was still purring like a kitten! Great car.

Here in Brazil the CR-V is imported from Mexico. This model top of the line year 2012 costs in the Brazilian currency in average converted to the dollar $ 20,000 is a beautiful SUV but few Brazilians can buy. Honda has 90% of the motorcycle market in Brazil. And they are the most expensive ones too. Here, Honda, Toyota and Ford are robusrez standards for most that can buy medium value vehicles. Audi, Mercedes, Volvo, BMW - are just dreams for our population.

How many miles do you have on it? I also had an ‘02 CRV, but unfortunately it got flooded during Hurricane Harvey. 😢 😢 The Automatic Transmission went out and was slipping like mad.

my 2015 cr-v 90,000 miles. I drive 126 miles a day 6 days a week no problem so far. regular oil change, and just change new tires. i average 33 mpg on the highway.👍👍

I love my 2013 Cr-v. Brassed off that the USA have the new Cr-v for at least 18 months. Will buy the new one when its launched here in UK!! MY mrs has a Crz and my 3 kids all have Civic's, one on her first, my son on his 2nd & the other girl on her 3rd!!!! What does that say about Honda reliability! :-)

Same I have a 2007 Honda Fit and my mom had a 2009 Honda Odyssey and now she has a 2017 Honda Odyssey touring and bought it brand new my car is used because I the correct age to have a car and my dad had a 19 something Honda Cvic then he got a 1997 or 1996 Honda Accord then had a 2010 Mazda 3 2.5 Sport with key the car color was black and then he got the 2019 Honda CR-V Dark Blue Touring AWD Brand New off the lot

I have 2017 and at 5000 miles I discovered gasoline leaked into the engine oil. Honda made me wait until it get to 12000 miles and Honda tried to fixed by replacing ac control unit & softwares updated but not fixed today I still have the issue & Honda said it is normal. I am going trade to Toyota RAV4 soon to get Toyota’s 20 yrs & 200,000 miles power train warranty. I made big mistake to purchase the CRV

There is actually 3 Honda plants here in Ohio. East Liberty, (This one shown in this video) Marysville, and Anna Ohio. I have orientation here coming up Friday October 13th, 2017 to work at the East Liberty plant!

Hi John, only the EX version has the Panoramic Roof which over here is the top of the range version at around £36000 with a 1.6 diesel 9 speed auto. No other type of sunroof is available. Yes they build civic's at swindon which is only 1 hour's drive from me :-)

Interesting. I just bought a 2018 CRV 4 months ago and I think we have now put about 600 miles on it. Still not quite used to it. bought it as a replacement for wife's Altima. Starting to find things I'm not real happy with. Although it is the biggest of the others I looked at , it is still small and cramped. It is not an SUV by any stretch of the imagination. It is a hatchback compact station wagon; a mamma- mobile. But that was what I expected it to be. So far, way too much "tech" stuff I'll never use, continually hitting the heater /ac controls instead of the radio, AM radio doesn't seem to have very good reception, body seems thin and almost too lightweight. Poor visibility out the back, I wished I had looked more into the Ford Flex as it seems to have adequate window area in the rear. Humps on the sides of the hood are very distracting; they seem to distort the ability to guage where the side of the body is and hamper visibility. Rear camera is a nice idea, but I don't know how far back the "lines" it projects are , I'll need to get out and measure it so I'll know. I actually stopped looking at it because it distracts me from the job of backing up. Would be more useful if I could turn it on while going forward and use it as a rear view mirror since rearward visibility is poor.

6kooler: Most of what you said is why I bought Honda Elements instead of Honda CR-Vs back in 2004 and 2008, when the CR-V was much closer to being a stationwagon. Since then the CR-V has become less wagon-like, less less utility and more sedan-like.

ATTENTION! I have a Honda 2017 CR-V in Turkey. I have been driving it about 1.5 year. I have had the terrible experience of discoloration of the steering wheel. I have asked my local dealer to change it, but I have been told that the factory has refused to change it under the warranty. Honda should take care of its customers after sale!!! Where are the Honda's principles and three joys? Honda cannot and should not claim that this problem is due to "external factors" I would like a positive recall from Honda in Turkey.
