By far the best way to help others customize their rides. Great job gentlemen on all your project bikes they look fantastic and a solid bump in stage 1 performance. Have a great week.

I really appreciate these builds as an example of the various options you have when deciding to do some mods--you can pick and choose which ones you want to do depending on your taste and performance preferences. Thanks!

I like these bikes I was thinking of getting one this summer as I do a lot of off road trail or fire road riding. Nothing too serious as I’m new to bikes. I’ll have to check out your site. And I like what you did with this bike. This will be my stepping stone to eventually getting a Africa Twin haha. I do have a Polaris Sportsman 850 also though so I’m not new to powerful machines. I rode a RM125 for a while in early 20’s. Had a lot of fun. I’m just at 31 now.

The bike look's amazing, when you do a project bike like this Rally , who's bike is it or do you sell it or what , I realize this was about a year ago , just curious

Great video but can you add the price you paid for each part and sum it up?
@SRmotousa5 жыл бұрын
You'd have to add all the parts to your shopping cart if you want to see what they all add up to. We don't expect customers to do every single thing we do to our bikes. Our builds are more to show all the different parts available for the bikes, and for us to see what works and what doesn't. But every rider is different and needs different modifications, so we don't expect everybody to do exactly what we've done on this bike. Ride your bike, see what you think it needs, and buy those parts for it.

Do you need to remove the snorkel after installing the K&N Air filter?
@greywings66054 жыл бұрын
looks awesome but I bet the bike became much more noisier. Im looking for ways to make it very quiet.
@SRmotousa4 жыл бұрын
We have the Q4 muffler on this bike. It is the quietest muffler you can get for the 250L, but yes it is quite a bit louder than stock.

I'll never understand why all these LED turn signal manufactures never install a simple load resistor right into the lights themselves. The only ones that I have ever seen do this, is Ducati Performance upgrade LED turn signals.

Very nice job ! What about the fork covers ?
@SRmotousa5 жыл бұрын
Those are Acerbis. We don't currently sell them though. They are made of a ruber-like material and wrap around the forks and held there with velcro.

question: I wanna install a full exhaust system on my crf 250l 2019. I noticed a censor connected to the header. would it be a problem disconnecting the censor from the stock header? hoping for your reply

We left ours connected.

When you installed The Zeta handguards did you have to replace the factory rally lever pivot bolts with shorter ones from a regular CRF250L?
@SRmotousa5 жыл бұрын
No we did not.

Thanks for the video and sharing off the mods. Quick question about the handlebar and handguards - after installing both, is anything bumping against the windshield when doing full lockout? Thanks.
@SRmotousa6 жыл бұрын
The setup we have leaves just over 1/4" of space between the handguard and the dash. It clears the windshield by about a 1/2" or more.
@jandor696 жыл бұрын
Thank, that sounds really good. Was thinking of going for exact same setup although with th CR High instead of Henry Reed. I'm almost 6' 3'' and it I guess I would get just a little more rise out of the CR high?
@dbtrackz334 жыл бұрын
Is it just me or do the Zeta hand guards bolt to the bar ends at a bad angle? Especially the throttle side.
@SRmotousa4 жыл бұрын
It really depends. Lots of variables with handguard installs... every handlebar bendis slightly different, mount kits can change the angle of the handguard, etc. Most of the time though they seem to fit pretty well. We occasionally will have to bend the handguard slightly to get things perfectly flush on the handlebar end, but that is rare.

How much top end(top speed)do you loose with the 13 tooth sporoket?
@pkbaker1004 жыл бұрын
Not very much. The biggest difference I’ve noticed on mine is the torque really hits around 5k rather than 6.5k in the stick gearing. It is probably the best upgrade you can do for these!
