Hi everyone please note the 300 Rally is now sold! 🖖 as i no longer enjoyed trail riding so a trail bike wasnt as suitable as a road bike.

Well done! And thanks for documenting this - it's giving me the confidence to try it myself.

Thanks for the comment Jim :) best few tips ive got that I'm picking up of others, two fingers only on the clutch n the brake, keep the rest on the bars really helps them not get knocked loose it was amazing to me anyway how much I progressed across the green lane I think there's probably some easier ones to start with I'm joining the trf this week adventure country tracks are worth a look at to as those are routes for bigger advs so will help for us novices. Keep your eyeline up as well like you would on the road. Good idea to carry a spare tube as well an some levers I'm ordering some motion Pro ones :) I've found it good to watch @brakemagazine videos on standing position and technique super looking forward to trying them out. Most of all have fun :)

Hi Mate, What a great green lane... I wished I kept my ktm525exc, I would have enjoyed it so much up there. You managed great for your first time and covered some difficult ground but that's the way of doing it, small areas first then you can build it up from there and I'm impressed how your new bike cope with it all too.

Nice one! You did well. I'd be a bit scared to go on my own with the Royal Enfield Himalayan in case something happened... Are you joining the TRF?

Thanks Noobiker :) I was really happy with the progress from the previous day to this ^^ felt like I really was enjoying it towards the end. Yep I'm gonna Join the TRF and the ACT. This was from the adventure bike rider magazine guide to green lanes :)

I know it goes against sensible thinking, but controlled momentum is your friend on a lot of the rocky stuff 😉

Thanks Fenner it's funny you should say that :) the momentum light bulb started to come half way down the lane was like riding a different bike.
