This one is an ’82 Interstate. Just take your time and plenty of pictures. Look for a service manual online, this will help immensely! Thanks for watching!

I had to replace an o-ring that seals the fuel supply port between the two air chamber halves.

Tom.. great videos.. is there a trick to getting the tubes seated on the carb.. mine are close but not quite there. Just won’t seat

If the rubber on the inlet is hard, soften it up in boiling water and smear some oil on the inside. You have to push quite hard and twist 40 yr old rubber.

I have an 85 Goldwing 1200, can I ask why the light comes on when I turn the key but it doesn't turn on? It doesn't make any noise or make any noise? Could you help me?

If you twist the intake runners up you don't have to remove the upper caps

How did you wire the blinkers? I can’t figure out which wires need to go where. I know light blue and orange but something isn’t working

The electrical schematic shows a 3 terminal flasher module but my bike has a 2 terminal flasher. Maybe mine is an aftermarket unit because of all the extra lites, including turn signals!

@Tom - Why do you say there is a fuel leak towards the end of the video?

The leak was not the tank, it was the petcock valve. If I remember correctly.
