I am at 2023 Daytona Bike Week. I demoed the Pursuit Limited Friday and was very impressed with its comfort and power. Saturday I demoed the Goldwing manual and thought it road smoother, shifted smoother, took the curves better and also has reverse. It also runs on regular gas and was about $10,000 less than the Pursuit! Both bikes are awesome but I’m definitely leaning towards the Wing!
@richthereturnrider6737 Жыл бұрын
Nice Jerry. I wanted to demo the pursuit but none was available. Very good points about the difference in cost and and regular vs premium fuel. The difference in smooth shifting I believe is due to the difference in power plants. The V-Twin is never going to be as smooth as the boxer 6 engine. Shifting is like butter. Having reverse to me is a game changer. The luggage carrying capacity in the pursuit a lot better.

Glad to see you like the Challenger. I have had 37 bikes. Currently in my garage is a 2020 Challenger, 2010 Victory Cross Country and 2008 Ness edition Jackpot. I bought my Challenger new from factory and took delivery August 23, 2020. Over all it might be my favorite bike. I think my Victory Cross Country is easier on a really long ride. But got to love that eye popping performance of the Challenger. At first I didnt think I would like the fixed fairing. But after only a few ride I got used to that handling. It handles like a bike with no fairing. I have stage one air, K&N filter, Cobra exhaust. I really need to upgrade the horn to an air horn.

My 2022 Indian Pursuit Darkhorse Icon is the 3rd Indian in my garage. Traded my 2020 Challenger Limited and my 2017 Indian Roadmaster for the new one since it is basically the culmination of the two older bikes. So far I have had no maintenance issues with an Indian motorcycle.

As far as the custom paint on the Goldwing in Ocala…it was painted by a guy out of Deland. I asked him how much it would be to do one similar for me and he said about $3,000
@richthereturnrider6737 Жыл бұрын
$3,000 is about what I would expect. It cost about $2,800 to do a rap. Paint jobs can be expensive but probably worth it.

Hey, I from Detroit and I love that torque my m109r has, but I need a bagger ASAP and a few guys who also owned m109r went with the Yamaha Eluder as they are torque monster also, have you had a chance to ride one and if so what's your impression?
@richthereturnrider67372 жыл бұрын

I sold my 2011 M109R and purchased a 2021 Challenger Limited. I have no regrets. Most comfortable bike ive ever owned and i love it all the way around!
@ericperry722 жыл бұрын
@@richthereturnrider6737 yeah the Eluder and Venture are the same bike just the Venture has the tour pack. The thing is I read a article where the HD, Venture, and Challenger were tested, and the Venture came out on top overall, the Challenger was a close second. Yamaha has more torque but the Indian has more HP. I want the best highway cruiser so I guess I need to go test ride both.

My 2020 GW Tour is like no other bike I have ever owned. Yes, not perfect like any other machine out there. If I would sell it tomorrow, I would get the Indian Pursuit.
