Honda key stuck in ignition, fixed.

I called the Honda dealership in Chula Vista, California, after my key kept getting stuck in the ignition of my 2012 Honda Civic. They told me to lightly spray the tip of the key with WD40 (do not spray inside of ignition) and work the key in and out of the ignition.
Replacing this ignition then rekeying door locks to match would have cost around $1000.
I hope this helps someone else.
