I have driven the AP1, AP2 and CR in the past. The CR is the only one that felt set up right, handling wise. The others are fun but a but squirelly. Only the hassle of dealing with a removable vs folding hard top kept me from buying the CR. The joke's on me -$34 K then, a six figure car now. I love my '18 Type R, but it will not likely see those numbers. But who cares- keeping it and driving it. As my daily. No garage queens, thank you.

I hear you, this cars were meant to be driven. That CR is currently sitting at a showroom. Type-r very nice, worked on quite a few in the past. Fun little cars.

I like the AP1 front end more. I think it looks more aggressive and sporty.

Thanks for showing us two beautiful cars. The club racer will, sadly, remain with low miles. On the other hand, the exhilaration you have driving your S2K to 9 grand is truly special. Enjoy 😉

CR is just some uglier and very overrated Ap1

That is so not true. Looks aside, the handling is day and night. The CR chassis is what the AP1 and AP2 should have had. And yes I drove all three.
