Honda shadow VLX600 single carb mod

In this video ill be installing a 2 to 1carb manifold and single carb. The manifold i purchased was to big watch as i create one from scratch.

I believe it's a 34mm I bought it off eBay. I just typed in 600cc single carb it was about $90

@CopingKeAl Necesitas un buen carburador que se ajuste al cc de tu bicicleta y es posible que necesites surtidores más grandes

Nice work bro. I converted my Vlx 600 to single carb too. Just a little tip: Make something to hold the carburetor on the frame. With the vibration the carb could possible fall off or create some false air entrance(personal experience =)).

@Blenbkuqi Yes, and no, you still need to tune the carburetor, and it's not a big difference from stock.

@ I have the same set up but for some reason my throttle cable is a few inches short. Are you using the stock throttle cable or did you use a different cable? If so, can you share which one you used?

@@alexramirez214 I used one of the stock cables and just ran it through one of the fork tubes and down the side.

Is this tank brushed steel? How does'nt rust?

Unsure, but I think it's just raw steel, I'm going to eventually paint it and line the inside.

I think it looked a little weird, maybe if it turned to face forward it would be cool sticking out like that .I looked into doing the single carb mod but I was a little too skeer'd 😬 drop a link for some of your jams.

Nice bike, convert mine too into a single carb, a similar manifold design but I used an elbow pipe. Mine is a Steed 400 with a 32 CV carb. Front engine will be a bit richer than the rear but runs great. Looking forward to your bike on-the-road test.

Just gonna try to help a fellow Brasilian. @sscarautocenter8354 Eu fiz essa adaptação na minha Shadow 600. Usei um carburador de Twister. To com gicleur de 42 na baixa e 140 na alta e usando um filtro de ar esportivo da Sportster. Em relação ao filtro, eu tapei metade dele pq entra mto ar.

Do you think this is possible to do on a 1986 Shadow 700C? I want to redo everything on my bike as well as I am pretty sure most of the wiring is all busted. How would I rewire everything?

Yeah, anything is possible. You'll need a 700cc carburetor. As for the wiring, I don't know how busted it is, but if it's not salvageable, I would just buy an oem harness online.
