I've ridden both and they are equally good.for different reasons. I will have my green 2023 Trail paid off by the end of summer. I plan on buying the 2025 Supercub next. I also own a 1968 cm91 all original art deco fenders and round headlight. My son just bought a super clean 2023 Grom. My older son is waiting for the 2025 Dax. You can say we're hooked. Love the yellow too! Enjoy your bike. I doordash, and haul my boxer around town as well as commute two miles round trip. Lol.

Hi Richard! Agreed on all points! It was a hard decision between that Green and Yellow for the Trail, hands down best colors. The Dax can't come soon enough! I was in Japan a few weeks ago and visited two Honda dealers, both had Trails in stock and one had an unsold Dax. It is even better looking in person. How does your son like his Grom? I think the 2024 redesign is ugly and prefer the 2023 styling.

My favorite accessories are led fog lights, wider engine gaurds & pipe guard (I hit a deer and sheared the kickstarter and foot peg off, which totaled the bike, and bummed me out), the the cell charger and anti shock phone mount( I destroyed my phones good camera array with vibration). The long seat is nice with the rear pegs, For an ultra tucked riding position. The windshield is lovely, but maybe go for something a little more out sized, the 7.5 in tall model helps, but isn’t necessarily the best. I’m going to leave my trail stick in the motor, but would love to kit the heck out of a generic or vintage bike with a bigger Chinese engine. Maybe Make a real carborated howler of a cafe racer, see if that horsepower might creep up a bit. Ride safe

Woah dude your Trail has been through some crazy stuff. I guess you had the bike repaired/replaced after you hit the deer?? I really want the OEM USB charger

Yah I really like the yellow, I think it is the best but it is a hard call because the '23 military green is great too

I have no issues toe shifting. 🤷🏻♂️
@Niremichi5 ай бұрын
Yeah, it might be a me issue, if I wore motorcycle boots with a toe plate or maybe if my foot itself was a little longer so where I pull up was a little more on the body of my foot it could be different... At this point I have learned the joys of heel upshifting however haha, gotta love being able to ride in sandals!

@@NiremichiI caved to the heel shifting as well 😅 This is my second Trail 125. My first one I adjusted the toe-heel shifter to focus on toe shifting… don’t mind the heel shifting… prefer it now

60-65mph?! 😂 Are you at, or below sea level? I can do maybe 52mph full tuck down a hill with a stiff breeze at my back lol.
@Niremichi2 ай бұрын
Yeah. I regularly cruise at around 61 on flat ground stock, but I only have a backpack on the luggage rack and I only weigh 140 lbs.. Weight is the death of speed on the Trail. If the rider is over 175 lbs or if 20 plus pounds are put on the cargo rack, you will never see 60 mph on flat ground. The aerodynamics of the trail aren't great either because the rider sits so high due to the cub style seat, if you are driving into the wind, you can lose a lot off of top speed.
